How the heck did an advanced ancient civilization lose a war?
Maybe they ran out of batteries? What we do know is Jaguar D. Saul survived Ohara’s buster call? Cool, I guess. Honestly, I’d forgotten about that character. But if he’s on Elbaph along with Ohara’s books, that’s one more reason to guess the Straw Hats are going to Elbaph (besides Usopp wanting to go and it’s probably the location of the 4th Road Ponegliff).
“A certain machine.” Could Shaka the Good be talking about Uranus? Probably. And since CP0 won’t be any real challenge for the Straw Hats, I guess we’ll see it in this arc. Think about it. The Vegapunks know about the Void Century. If the Elder Stars learn Luffy (AKA Joy Boy) is on Egghead, it’s game over. Dr. Vegapunk telling Luffy about the Void Century/Ancient Kingdom has to be one of their worst-case scenarios. No reason not to break out the big guns if that happens.
So, what other knowledge bombs will Vegapunk drop? Oda mentioned before Dr. Vegapunk will reveal the secrets of devil fruits. Maybe the world’s smartest man will also reveal the Ancient Kingdom is Laugh Tale? Or we’ll get more info on Uranus? And most important of all… Why Vegapunk’s making women walk around in their underwear?
This was a good chapter! The Straws Hats are learning the secrets of the world and so are we! But why did Oda split up Dr. Vegapunk? There has to be a reason. Will one become an antagonist? Will some of them die? Hmm…I know! The Vegapunks will form their own pirate crew. The Egghead Pirates! Either that or host a podcast. Whichever gets them more money for research.

You think Dragon’s gonna warp over here to help Vegapunk? Or is he going to leave saving Vegapunk to Luffy? It’d certainly be crazy if this is the place were Luffy and Dragon finally meet.
CP-0…….. yeah; not as MUCH of a threat. I won’t say they’re “No Threat” because Lucci and Kaku haven’t been sitting on their hands this whole time. They might put up a a fight- if only a small one compared to when they first fought.
I didn’t even THINK about Shaka wanting to show them Uranos! I imagine that Vegapunk would like for them to be warned about it. Maybe…..

Oh, yeah. I forgot Luffy and Dragon need to meet at least once in the series. Will it be here? Maybe. I can see the Vegapunks joining the Revolutionary Army after this arc. And there’s no better place to do it, especially since Dragon knows Dr. Vegapunk. Dragon could also fill the Straw Hats in on the RA’s plans or reveal Vivi’s is being protected by them. Ha! You got excited about this. Hope it happens!

Not sure if Shaka can show them the actual Uranus, but he can tell them about it and reveal the WG’s in possession of it. And with that, the SHs will have knowledge of all 3 ancient weapons.
