Clones of powerful pirates, laser beams, Lunarian DNA, and now, Seraphim have devil fruit powers?!
Now that’s overpowered! Even more interesting, the Jimbei Seraphim possesses Senor Pink’s Swim-Swim Fruit. Hmm… Is Senor Pink dead? Maybe, unless Dr. Vegapunk extracted the devil fruit power without killing the user. But, for now, I’d say he’s dead. I wonder what devil fruits the other seraphim have? I’m looking forward to finding out!
Ya know? Shaka The Good seems to know a lot about the world 900 years ago. Looks like curiosity got the better of the Vegapunks and they know more about the Void Century and the time before it than the World Government allows. Could the Vegapunks knowledge of the past be the reason the Elder Stars want them dead? Makes sense given their zero tolerance to anyone mentioning anything about the past.
If true, I bet the Vegapunks learned some juicy tidbits about the world back then and will share that knowledge with the Straw Hats…and Monkey D. Dragon? It’s all comin’ together, Y’all.
Here’s something to think about: Could the “man with the burn scar” be Dr. Vegapunk? If so, could Blackbeard or members of his crew attack Egghead Island at some point? Not surprising seeing as Shaka’s wearing a helmet.
This was a good chapter! Even if my theories are wrong, I think this will be a very important arc in learning about the past, even if it’s a little. Lilith wanting a “sun” to power everything makes me wonder if the ancient civilization did that exact thing. At the very least, I bet they recycled. Turns out the Void Century was simply the fossil fuel loving World Government destroying every recycling plant on the planet. The monsters!

Nami, Nami, Nami……… YOU ARE IN TROUBLE if you can’t hit these Seraphim! Sanji’s body can only do so much as your shield- especially since he’s probably going to be fighting elsewhere when all is said and done. She probably won’t be able to, but hopefully Oda comes back to it less than “Will Sanji Ever Be Able To Kick A Woman?” That gets old. And Grating.
Vegapunk certainly knows a lot. Whether or not the Government knows about that part is anyone’s guess. I think it’s more about his potential as an enemy more than anything. But his deductive reasoning and curious nature probably don’t inspire “trust” from the higher ups.
The Fuel Source Vegapunk is gonna learn about is Cola, isn’t it? Franky’s gonna be important in this arc- though I also feel like he’s not gonna get as many “solo moments” as Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, and Robin. Eh…… maybe he will.

Cola? Lol interesting. I doubt the Vegapunks will use it but….what if the reverse happened? What if Franky started using a new type of power source inspired by the Vegapunks? Maybe Franky can incorporate some holo-tech? This arc is a chance for Franky to really shine but I remember thinking the same about Zoro at the beginning of Wano, heh.

Fair enough. I don’t get the feeling the Franky is going to be as important as it seems he should be. I’m kind of upset with the lack of focus on Zoro in Wano, if I’m to be honest.
But I also think you might be right about Franky getting a tech boost. Those Light gloves Atlas used make me think he’ll fight Kizaru- if only to be saved by one of the Top Guys.
Converting one to their side? Meh….. I feel like the Seraphim don’t have wills of their own. Like Kuma; they’re no longer able to think for themselves- if they ever could. Vegapunk could have incorporated some of Judge’s tech in that; I don’t doubt that he knows how to do some of that.
Though there could be some “Defective” ones that CAN think for themselves. If so, then it’s possible.

I love where you’re going with the Franky tech theory. But let’s cut out the middleman and have Franky invent special shoes for Sanji.
All this talk about upgrades reminds me of Pluton. That’s gotta come into play at some point. Franky could use what he learns in this arc to upgrade the Thousand Sunny for a fight against it.
Not sure what fate has in store for the Seraphim, but them being kids has to influence how they’ll end up in the story. At least if it shows they’re self-aware beings.

Huh….. Didn’t think about Sanji having “Special Shoes.” That would cool. Especially since he never got to look into the Raid Suit.
Upgrade to fight against Pluton? Not a bad idea, honestly. I always like the theory that he incorporated a little bit of Pluton’s schematics when he built the Sunny- such as the Main Cannon. But to make it a Full On Counter to it? Honestly, the Sunny itself SHOULD have a bounty after that!
