What’s the point to all of this Deku?
Even if you “save” Shigaraki, it won’t undo all the crimes he committed. Trespassing. Disorderly Conduct. Oh! And, lest not forget Mass Destruction, Terrorism, and Murder. A LOT of murders. Whether or not he repents means nothing to the multitude of citizens/victims who want him dead for what he’s done. Tartarus? Ha! Shigaraki will be lucky not to get convicted then immediately thrown into a volcano. You know? Like the one he’s trying to turn Mt. Fuji into? Come on Deku, my dude. Get a clue!
What exactly is in Shiggy’s mind space that has the 2nd One For All User concerned? Did he see Shinomori? Is he planning on leaving OFA in order to Jiminy Cricket Shiggy’s mind? Basically, be the final big bad’s conscious? Sounds crazy, but the whole direction this battle went is already there.

This was a good chapter? Sure. Let go with that. Yeah, it’s insane for Deku to risk all of Japan just to try helping Shiggy but it’s shonen. Either the protagonist is a bleeding heart hero or he’s Goku. Seriously. Frieza is a planet destroying monster and Team Goku’s just letting him do who knows what somewhere in the universe. Ugh! I need an aspirin. Manga’s giving me a morality headache.

That’s pretty much where I’m at with Izuku at this point; this kid’s trying to save someone bound for the Death Penalty as it stands. And I don’t even think the “conventional” means will do it. They certainly haven’t THUS far. You might be right: They might need to throw Tomura in a Volcano for this. That or let him out live Deku and run the risk of him playing the “Long Con” ’til the only hero able to stop him is long dead.
Deku’s parting ways with One For All……….. well, people might be getting to see what “Quirkless Hero Deku” can do to “outsmart” villains like Muscular and Tomura. I’d PAY to see how “brains” do against such “Direct” Enemies.

I just can’t see Shigaraki surviving. It doesn’t make sense to me. My only question is whether Deku will be forced to do it, they “split” Shigaraki from his kid self like you’ve said before, or Shigaraki takes himself out in a last ditch effort to kill Deku.
…Actually. There is one way: Shigaraki becomes quirkless.
That said, I don’t see Deku becoming quirkless (but I won’t rule it out) more than him losing the extra OFA quirks. Maybe even the ability to transfer the quirk if the 1st goes.

Would a Quirkless Shigaraki work? He wouldn’t be able to decay anything, sure, but isn’t his body super modified? He “molted” after the Finger waves, so I’m curious to see what kind of Monster be’ll be when all is said and done. He may end up being quirkless, but……… still tough enough to take on Multiple heroes without them.

Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. Guess it’s back to him being dead, ha!
