Is Kunieda the last powerful Tartarus escapee?
I guess so. Too bad. Seems like the Tartarus escapees were mostly just fodder to wear out Deku. There was a real opportunity to see a lot more powerful villains with crazy quirks. Oh well, I’m grateful for the ones we got.
The Aoyama/Hagakure team-up attack was great! Y’All know I’m a sucker for combo moves. Still, I don’t think it was worth the wait. Anyway, with the Kunieda fight over, that leaves only All For One and Shigaraki to deal with. We’re really nearing the end of the road, my friends.
The All Mech/AFO fight is still great. There aren’t many Class A quirks left for All Mech to use. I can see this battle ending in a two or three more chapters, depending on chapter length, flashbacks, etc. And, yes, I still think this fight ends with a double K.O. Or a triple if Stain intervenes and he probably will. Come on! You didn’t think the Hero Killer’s getting a happy ending, did you? Hmm… Thinking about it, Stain would be fine dying alongside his favorite hero. Oh, well.
This was a good chapter! Again, not much to say. It’s a straightforward fighty-fight chapter. I wish the Toshinori/Nana flashback was longer. Oh no! Don’t, Horikoshi. Please don’t show the rest of that flashback at the end of the fight. Stop interrupting your fights with flashbacks, damn it! I swear, if you do I’m gonna give such a nipple pinch.
