This chapter is seven pages. Whatever’s happening with Horikoshi, I hope he’ll be okay.
More fighty-fighting between All Mech and All For One. I’m not surprised AFO’s gaining momentum. You all know how most shonen fights go: One side’s winning, then the other, then back again, La-Di-Da…someone wins. So don’t worry All Might fans, Toshinori still has plenty of Class 1-A quirks to adapt. I’m sure Bakugo and Todoroki’s quirks are getting some love. What I really want to see are Mina and Aoyama’s quirks adapted. AFO getting an acid shower and laser to the face would be so satisfying!
Looks like Horikoshi’s at it again, showing a character’s flashback near the end of their journey. You don’t have to pepper fights with flashbacks, Hori. Just reveal their past earlier. That way, we’ll be invested in their big battles without you having to shoehorn in reasons we should care. I find it annoying and overused, just like baby-meets-pet videos.
“Toshinori Rising” incoming? Yes, I just complained about flashbacks during battles, but I’m been looking forward to seeing Toshinori meeting Nana for a long time. There’re so many questions I have about Toshinori’s past. Does he have living blood relatives? Where did his strong sense of justice come from? Did Toshinori name himself All Might because Nana’s hero name is “For All”? Wow! I haven’t mentioned that theory in forever. If I’m right, I’m so gonna pat myself on the back for a week!
This was a short chapter! Good, but short. I’m getting really concerned for Horikoshi’s health, Y’all. A shame My Hero Academia’s ending under these circumstances. I should buy him a present. Hmm…maybe a pair of underwear. I wonder if Hori’s a boxer or briefs guy? Oh, well. I’ll just get him some thong underwear. Can’t go wrong with that.

I saw a Tweet that speculated that the reason for Horikoshi’s breaks and low page counts for chapters might not just be health related; he might be drawing Deku vs Tomura on the side- trying to give it the best quality art possible.
They say there are cases like that, but I haven’t heard anything like that happening. But it’s not a bad idea. And if true, then he might have an easier and more relaxed schedule while that fight is coming out. Who knows, if true- he might have most of it finished and then the rest will just be making sure everything said and shown is consistent with the continuity of the series(he’s had problems with that in the past, like when Twice needed Himiko’s measurements during Villain Aca).
BOY OH BOY is All For Nobody None P!SSED. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve seen ANY character in this manga have such a rage moment- even Deku’s little outbursts.
I imagine the Origin Trio’s themed equipment are gonna be some of the last pieces of gear Small might uses. Will he freeze him first or burn him. Oh! Maybe an Explosive Delaware Detroit Smash!!
Yeah, I probably would have preferred the Nana flashback earlier in the story- like Kamino or something. Maybe even do something similar to Jujutsu Kaisen and make a whole little arc of it. I would have taken that over the Class 1B battles.
Nana’s hero name? You know, I never thought about it. “For All” can be………… taken a different way. And you KNOW what way I’m talking about. But you might be right about Small Might’s name being a reference to her.

Unless there’s a creditable source, I tend to take anything on the internet with a grain of salt. That whole rumor sounds especially sus to me.
I wonder how long this fight is gonna last with all the Class A weapon shout outs coming? Well that plus the flashback.
We’ll see what Nana’s hero name is but the symbol on her beat is the mathematical symbol for “For All”. At the very least I’m guessing she has “All” in her name and that’s gonna be in part why Toshinori named himself All Might.
