It’s you fault Vice Admiral Garp’s gonna die! Wait? Will he die? Sure, Garp’s death will help solidify the Blackbeard Pirates as a genuine world threat but that can happen just from Garp losing. And it won’t even be Blackbeard himself doing the deed, but Kuzan killing Garp would be impactful too. In any case, Oda’s got to take Garp off the fighting board and this battle will do it.
What the hell is up with Kuzan? Is he playing the long con or not? Believe it or not, I think he is. There’s more going on here than we realize. There’s some serious backstory needed to explain things but in the end, Kuzan is doing what he thinks is right. But, if so, is he working with anyone else? By that I mean does anyone in the Marines know the real story? Maybe not. This might just be a solo project spurred on by Kuzan’s desire to fight evil his own way. In any case, I don’t think Kuzan’s making it out of this series alive. Everyone’s talking about Garp, but the former Navy Admiral’s the one I’m wondering will survive. Not now, but further down the line. If Kuzan betrays Blackbeard, he’s gonna pay the ultimate price.
Have we seen Vice Admiral Smoker lately? Is he Team Garp’s secret trump card? Will Gecko Moria protect the Navy ship if he’s on-board? I’m just throwing ideas out there. Because at this point, if Garp does, Team Garp dies also, and I doubt Oda’s going that far. So, yeah, it ain’t over yet.
This was a good chapter! Garp, Kuzan, the BB Pirates. You just can’t go wrong with a combination like that. Isn’t it interesting how Luffy values his freedom like Garp? And Dragon too. He loves his freedom so much he’s never called his son on his birthday, not even once! Such a great dad you are, Monkey D. Dragon. The “D” stands for Deadbeat.

Looking at it; Garp IS 3-For-3 on raising powerful enemies of the World Government. I doubt Koby and Helmeppo will make it 5, but I don’t think that Koby is gonna stick with the Government the whole way through. he already showed defiance at Marineford; will he still stick by them when he finds out Marie Geiose’s Big secret?
Man, the Island Island fruit looks like a TERRIFYING ability when you think about the fact that he can just DUNK a ship like that. I wonder if this one of those “Equivalent Exchange” type of deals; the more limbs he makes, the more landmass he takes from the island. Maybe “spreading him thin” will be how they overcome this guy. But the only one fast enough on the Straw Hat’s right now to fight him would probably be Sanji in that case. Luffy vs Blackbeard; Zoro vs Shiryu; Usopp vs Van Augur; Chopper vs Doc Q; either Nami or Robin vs Catarina Devon because she cuts off theheads of women prettier than her; I think Nami should fight Laffite because he was the Sheriff of his home town before he was a Pirate, and Nami was a Burglar; Jimbei vs Burgess because they’re both Helmsman and Skill vs Muscle………… Yeah; Sanji could fight him. Oh, but someone has to fight Kuzan, huh?
Robin would make the most sense, leaving Nami to Devon, but……… I love her, and her “Demonio” thing was cool, but even so- she can’t win. Maybe a Haki amp will help? Chopper might get one, too, considering what we know about the Sick Sick fruit.
Egghead has been such a stellar arc; a 4 week break hasn’t changed that. I didn’t get a lot to talk about out of this chapter, but d@mn if it still wasn’t equal to anything else in this arc! Well, at least where Egghead and Cross Guild are concerned; that Reverie Flashback, man…….. SOMETHIN’ ELSE.

Agreed. It’s one world changing event after another, which makes Oda saving Egghead Island for last really interesting. I’m assuming that means the biggest world changing event will happen there. You can leave out the Straw Hats when it comes to shaking up the world.
I can see Sanji fighting Pizzaro. He’d just have to find where his actual body is and KO him. Of course, it won’t be as easy as that, ha!
I’d guess Nami will fight Devon simply because Nami usually fights the “bad girl”. Robin is more versatile. As for Kuzan… Yeah, I still think he’s getting done in by Blackbeard. Maybe Luffy, but whoever he loses to has to be a big name.

Teech taking out Kuzan? I hadn’t thought about that! But it makes sense that something like that would happen; the stronger members of the crew already have their OWN fights lined up, and even some of the weaker ones, too. Kuzan just kind of needs to be out of the picture for the Straw hat’s to have a chance at winning, huh? Although I think Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and PLAUSIBLY Jimbei could take him themselves.
Yeah; the Egghead Incident is sure to be the BIGGEST Shake Up Of All- something that I don’t even think anyone’s said yet. I’ve heard “Death Of St Saturn” and “Luffy Defeats Kizaru,” but I feel like Oda has something else in mind. And this can either end in the Straw hat’s- much like Law and Kid- being beaten, or see them as the Newbie Yonko crew on the block DOMINATE.
Or perhaps Vegapunk will announce something he found in his research of the Poneglyph’s- something I bet Saturn wouldn’t want anyone hearing and may even force Kizaru to kill everyone over. Eh; maybe not THAT far, but…………….. THE ISLAND’S GOING TO BE LULUSIA’D, isn’t it? I wonder why Saturn was sent if that’s what’s gonna happen, though?

I don’t see a Straw Hat crew team-up against Kuzan. He’s strong but not worth that.
I don’t see the SHP losing. Kid and Law just aren’t there yet in terms of…well…everything. They aren’t powerful enough to be in the final race for Laughtale. The Straw Hats are. Not to say it’s gonna be easy for them, but they aren’t getting stomped like Law or Kid anytime soon.
As for what’s gonna happen at Eggheard? It has to have something to do with St. Saturn. It’s too rare an opportunity having an Elder there. BUT there has to be more. Heck, just Vegapunk, a guy who researched the Void Century befriending Luffy, the Sun God, is a HUGE deal. And Kizaru is the one admiral besides Sakazuki who’s overdue for an ass whoppin’. Kizzy being the 1st admiral to go down would be well worth the wait. …And then there’s BB pirates sailing there.
So, yeah, what’s gonna happen at Egghead? Everything is gonna happen! And I can’t wait to see it!
