I’ve heard several theories from the One Piece community on who could be the traitor, but for now I’m going with there being at least two: A Vegapunk Satellite and Punk Records itself. An evil A.I. arc boss? How could Oda resist? As for which Vegapunk could be working for/with the A.I.… Shaka Khan The Good. He’s got important character written all over him. Either he stays the main VP Satellite helping the Straw Hats or he becomes an antagonist.
We learn everyone in the main lab is trapped inside the Frontier Dome. Yep, that’s more fuel to the theory the hidden antagonist(s) are keeping everyone else there for the Navy. I’m sensing a deal with Elder Star St. Saturn coming.
Nefeltari Vivi and Wapol hiding from the World Government at World Economic Journal HQ. Interesting. We all know something huge went down at Marijoa. One fan theory being Sabo, Vivi and Wapol caught a glimpse of the King of the World, Im. Works for me. Especially with Vivi and Wapol hanging out with Big News Morgans. Can you imagine the chaos that’ll result from Morgans printing a worldwide expose on Im? That’s a story plot point that could only happen in One Piece’s endgame. And guess what? We’re in the endgame, Y’All! The only question is when this info bomb drops?
Speaking of information, we learned little about Bartholomew Kuma’s past. But from what I can gather, he was a child slave. Makes sense given he grows up to become a founder of the Revolutionary Army.
This was a good chapter! More setup to the insanity that’s about to go down, both at Egghead Island and the world at large. Large like York the Greedy. Damn, that lady’s tall! I’m surprised they have underwear—excuse me—”combat gear” in her size. And, no, I will not stop talking about Oda making his female characters wear underwear in this arc. At least not until the Navy arrives, wearing only jockstraps and a smile.

Wapol definitely saw something he shouldn’t have. But Vivi is wanted by Im for some reason. I don’t think she knows of Im, but knows that the Higher Ups in the World Government want her “erased.”
You think Franky will get Egghead Upgrades? The bubble shield- the Light Pressure glove things- jetpacks- and more to think about. All of this possible if the Vegapunks work on him on their Way to Elbaf……..

Maybe Franky will upgrade himself or General Franky. Or Usopp will tweak his or Nami’s weapon. I’m mostly thinking about the Thousand Sunny. It’ll have to be strong enough to take down or survive Pluto. But who knows. There’s enough upgrades to go around.
