Goodbye, All For Shiggy. Hello, Tomura Shigaraki. As it should be. Just as Deku is All Might’s successor and main protagonist of My Hero Academia, Shigaraki, All For One’s successor, should be the story’s main antagonist. So what does that mean? Well, for Deku, it means he’s in deep dog shit. All For Shiggy wanted him alive at least long enough to steal One For All. Classic Shigaraki just wants him dead. Good luck with that, Deku.
Well, at least you have allies, Deku. Mirio, Lady Nagant and… Um… Let’s see… Gentle’s busy trying to keep U.A. in one piece. Bakugo’s out of commission. Hm, why do I have the feeling Bakugo’s gonna fight again? I don’t know how, but I won’t count everyone’s favorite toxic loud mouth out just yet.
Stain. He’s gotta return now that Deku and Shigaraki are off U.A. Maybe that’s what’s All Might’s doing, recruiting him to their cause. And there’s still America’s fighter pilots. Maybe they’ll finally do something besides burn up jet fuel. That stuff ain’t cheap, fellas!
Kurogiri’s going through a midlife crisis. Will he revert to Shirakumo? I hope so. Just pick a side, dude. No one likes an indecisive person. Have a little confidence. Here, you can borrow one of my self-help books.
This was a good chapter! I know, I’m surprised I said it too. But I’m glad Shigaraki’s back in the driver’s seat and both he and Deku are fighting at ground level. The battlefield’s bigger and there’re more chances other fighters will join the rumble. Others like Rappa and Skycrawler. Sorry, Y’All. I’m required by law to mention them in every review until the final battle ends. Or at least until Shueisha’s checks stop clearing.

Oh I am SO Glad Tomura’s back!! Did you hear that speech he gave to All For NOTHING? OH, was that cathartic or WHAT? After stealing the spotlight from the Better Villain, hearing Tomura tell him how much of a Pathetic LOSER he is made me smile from ear-to-F*cking-EAR.
So THAT’S why Tenko wasn’t getting absorbed; Tomura was still working to prevent All For One from assimilating him completely. And now, Tenko and Tomura are free to DESTROY EVERYTHING STEMMING FROM THAT HOUSE. That is the Will of Tenko Shimura.
Huh…….. Maybe THAT’S what Tomura is. Tomura is Tenko’s will given form. And- because of All For One- it took on a life of it’s own. But now Tenko’s managed to……. not “Tame” Tomura, but……. “Aim” him better. And it all goes back to his awful childhood.
Gentle can’t move because he needs to hold UA; Jeanist is still tending to Bakugo; Mirio’s free; the Jets are free now; Kurogiri’s on the fritz; All Might’s probably on the way, but who KNOWS how long that’s gonna take; the Erasure Team is stuck under a bunch of Twice Clones; am I missing someone? Everyone else needs to come in like YESTERDAY- Rappa, Koichi, Cpt Celebrity et al need to hurry up and show up if they’re going to. Now- or Never. Though the series looks like it’s gonna be a little longer before the end, thinking about it.
Oh, Speaking of Kurogiri- How do you think that “Wines” tasting? Probably bitter, right? Boy, did that taste age poorly for him!!

I wouldn’t mind seeing Koichi and Capt. Celebrity show up but I don’t see them teaming up with Deku. I’d be awesome and a great MCU-ish moment but no. I’m more prepared to have them help out against AFO if they show up at all. I really thought Horikoshi was going for the big MCU/comic team-up with MHA and MHV but that may not be the case. A shame if it doesn’t happen. But, I’m at least hoping a MHA/MHV movie happens.
The only people I can see helping Deku are Mirio, Bakugo (somehow), and Stain. Lady Nagant too if she’s not down for the count. But, yeah, I’m still holding on a little hope some international heroes come to Japan’s aid.
