Wait a minute! I just realized why Oda gave Luffy toon force.
He’s made of rubber and most cartoons way, wayyyy back in the day had that rubber hose effect. You know? How all the characters were very malleable (Think the Cuphead game for all you young ‘ums out there.)? They could stretch, get smashed, and alter their bodies in crazy ways… almost like they were made of rubber. Brillant, Oda! You get an extra scoop of ice cream for dessert!
Interesting how only Zoan fruits are artificially created. Guess we don’t have to worry about artificial Logias popping up. But the Seraphim having Green Blood brings into question what S-Hawk’s devil fruit power is. Mr. 1’s dice-dice fruit comes to mind. But maybe Oda will throw us a curve ball. Since S-Hawk & Mihawk both have superoffensive capabilities, a defensive devil fruit works best. …Jozu’s diamond devil fruit? That’d be cool. Let’s go with that.
S-Snake using the mero-mero devil fruit. That was…interesting. But, to be fair, Franky went all heart eyes for Dr. Vegapunk, so the World Government agents doing the same for S-Snake could signal they think she’s cute and that was enough for the mero to do its thing. Hey! At least S-Snake isn’t wearing “combat gear”.
Stussy was a part of MADS? That was my first thought until I read a theory it could be Miss Bakkin. She’s old enough and her “son”, Edward Weevil, looks like a young Whitebeard and has the power to back it up. Weevil…? An animal name just like Mihawk, Kuma, and the rest. Yep… Weevil’s a clone without Lunarian DNA and Green Blood. If I’m wrong, blame the internet.
Luffy? You could’ve grabbed Sentomaru before you escaped, you know. No? Oda wouldn’t let you? Damn him! I’m taking that extra ice cream scoop back.
CP0 now controls the Seraphim. Oops! Makes me wonder if there’s more hidden inside Labophase. Probably. Unless they’re not on the island at the moment. Double oops!
This was a good chapter! Lots of info dumping coupled with plot development and a teaser Kizaru’s getting closer to Egghead. Someone’s getting kicked in the face. Probably Lucci again for whoopin’ on Sentomaru. Next time, use your words, Robby. Or at least bribe Sentomaru by offering him a t-shirt.

Ms Bakkin was in MADs? I hadn’t heard that one before! Those timelines kind of match up; the Rocks Pirates- where she presumably met Whitebeard- disbanded 38 years ago, and MADs activities were 24 years ago.
Oh yeah; Kizaru is about to Buster Call that sh!t. Sad loss for the Government- but that would HAVE to be what they sacrifice to bring in a Yonko……. or so I would think. At least if it were Kaido, Big Mom, or Whitebeard.
S-Hawk’s devil fruit power……… I couldn’t even BEGIN to think about that. Depending on how long the Seraphim have been worked on- how long Vegapunk has been working for the Government- how many Devil fruit users were captured in that time- and which one would fit a Swordsman of Mihawk’s caliber; THERE ARE TOO MANY OPTIONS. And yet maybe not enough. Maybe Diamante’s Flag Flag fruit to make fighting other Swordsman easier? Or to give his own sword an “Element Of Surprise?”

The Straw Hats being an Emperor crew does make things more interesting. Naval Base-14 could get in on the action. The Straw Hat Fleet could show up unannounced (kinda of a big maybe but still). And there’s still Kuma. I can easily see Vegapunk fixing him up and Kuma sending all the Vegapunks, Bonney and himself back to Dragon. But whatever happens, there’s gonna be some world shaking changes happening.
