You won’t like me when I’m angry.
Raw emotion. When used effectively can give someone the power to accomplish things that were otherwise impossible. Here, Endeavor’s using his pure rage to give All For One one hell of a fiery beat down. Losing his arm? Well, that just adds fuel to the number one hero’s impassioned fire. Sorry, AFO. It’s your fault for not stealing an ice quirk. Jerk.
Points to Tsukuyomi and Dark Shadow for knocking the taste out of AFO’s mouth. That was a nasty punch. I can’t help but wonder how monstrous they’d be if they were fighting AFO at night. Endeavor, Hawks, and a full-power Dark Shadow? AFO wouldn’t stand a chance.
AFO blames his use of a copy of his original quirk as to why his stolen quirks can rebel. I’ll take that over Jiro somehow being responsible. It certainly makes more sense. Love ya, Jiro, but you causing that is bullship.
Will Endeavor die? Have we reached the end of his story? How about this: Will Endeavor be able to continue being a hero after this fight? Hmm… Hard to say. We’ve been fooled by death flags before. Death? Retirement? Neither? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. But… Just in case, I’m putting $20 down on Endeavor retiring. It’s the final arc, after all. All bets are off, but I think Horikoshi may save the big hero death for All Might himself. Sir Nighteye’s death prediction’s still in effect, Y’All.
This was a good chapter! Pretty quick read, but I was on the edge of my gaming chair seat the whole time. Seriously, AFO? No ice quirk? Not even a water quirk? Geez, dude. I’m embarrassed for you!

They CAN Rebel, but why did they in that moment? Did Star’s quirk not only work on the counterfeit, but also “from beyond the grave?” Something just doesn’t feel right about that part to me no matter how many times I try to rationalize it.
Learning a little bit about Endeavor’s father was neat, although I don’t know what he was supposed to learn from that. Like; did he learn to “Focus?” Is that the message; Focus On The Battle At Hand Rather than try to “make everything better” or whatever?
These last events have left me a bit confused; I definitely like the next chapter more.

I agree about Endeavor’s father. It’s not clear what impact it had on Enji. Was he always trying to be a hero or just did so when his dad died? It’s a quick backstory I wish was fleshed out.
I don’t know about what exactly caused the quirks to rebel. I don’t think Hori’s gonna bother to explain it more.
