Law and Kid prove they’re Monkey D. Luffy’s rivals.
I said it before. I’ll say it again: Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kid had to defeat Big Mom in order to join Luffy on the top-tier plateau of current pirates. No other way around it. And, it looks like they succeeded.
Quite the feat, actually. Big Mom’s a physical force of nature with an extremely powerful and versatile devil fruit, the Soul-Soul fruit. Makes sense it’d take the combination of Law’s almost equally powerful and versatile Op-Op fruit along with the raw power of Kid’s Magnet-Magnet fruit to win. Definitely a more technical fight than Luffy and Kaido’s slug fest. If this is indeed the end of their fight, I’m very pleased.
Are there anymore big fights left other than Luffy VS Kaido? There’s Yamato’s fight with Kazenbo, but I feel that’s just a way give the strong Yamato something to do. That said, there’s a really good chance that armory is blowing up eventually. I’m curious to where Oda’s taking that sub-plot.

There’s Raizo’s fight. Don’t care.
Izo VS CP0. I’m very interested in whether Izo dies. If not, then if he stays in Wano to help Momonosuke.
And, finally, Shogun Orochi. He’s got the biggest, jagged foot scheduled to shoot right up his ass at some point. The only question is when? And how?
Momonosuke’s actually pulling Onigashima backwards! Nice. Momo can also hear Zunisha calling out to him. I wonder why it’s at Wano? Was it always looking for the isolated island, or was it looking for Momonosuke in particular? Both, maybe? There’s some serious Void Century info a comin’, Y’All. We’ve been hungry for more knowledge for decades. Oda’s been slowly setting down the plates and busting out the utensils. Now, it’s almost time to eat!
This was a great chapter! There’s nothing to nitpick about the Big Mom/Law & Kid fight. Big Mom’s powers, her homies, Law and Kid using their awakened devil fruit powers, the rivalry, and final attacks. Everything was a visual treat. Just an a delightful One Piece fight. Wait? Does Kid and Law beating Big Mom mean they’re gonna become Emperors too? I wonder if they’ll get plaques like YouTubers who get lots of subscribers? Congrats, guys. I’m looking forward to your joint celebration gaming stream of Mario Party.

Yeah…… The Raizo fight was less than I was expecting. Shame. But some things have to be cut to get stuff like this!! I’d rather see Law and Kid take it to Big Mom than Raizo’s Ninja Battle(though I don’t dislike him).
Big Mom using her powers to heal herself was interesting- especially when her arms started talking. If she ends up passing out; will her arms just move themselves to save her? That sounds kind of hilarious now that I think about it.
Their Era’s about to end. I have to give it to you: You were right. Luffy and the others are reaching that upper level with Whitebeard and the other Yonko. And there’s only a few character left in the world who can challenge him now. So who’s it gonna be next? Probably someone in the World Government because Sabo. Or……. Blackbeard? One or the other!
A hole in the ground……..Zunesha………. Momonosuke’s control over the clouds…….. Kaido’s exhaustion……….Make of these plot points what you will.

I’m betting on Blackbeard being the final boss. Everyone is up for grabs though, including the Admirals. Actually, with 2 Emperors going down this arc and only Blackbeard left (not counting Rocks if he’s still kicking about), it’s safe to say the end is near. Not near-near. Near for One Piece (Maybe another 5 or 6 years).
