I’m not sure I like where this is going.
And by this I mean “Tenko”. Okay, sure, Tenko is very much the victim as any other innocent affected by All For One. Buuuuuut, at the same time, didn’t Horikoshi establish Shigaraki wanting to destroy the world? That it’s his decision? Which is it, Hori? Tenko being manipulated by All For One doesn’t excuse ALL the death and destruction he’s called over the years. Yes, Tenko needs saving, but Shigaraki needs prison.
Now, I’m willing to let this angle play out given Horikoshi’s track record with Endeavor. I don’t want to be one of those internet haters coming down on him. Endeavor’s quest for redemption was a lot more complex than people first thought and maybe this is a similar situation. Maybe “saving” Tenko means killing him. Maybe Shigaraki will sacrifice himself to help take down All For One. I don’t know. For now, I’ll stick to my theory Shigaraki will gain control of his body and kill the OG All For One.
All For Shiggy’s herpes—erm—New Order is gone. So this entire battle was just a way to destroy most of All For Shiggy’s quirks and give the heroes more time to take down the Big Bads. …Okay. But it sucks Star And Stripe was used like that instead of being fully fleshed out and having interactions with the main cast, bur I’ve already given my complaints about that. Let’s just hope Britney Spears is available to perform at the fallen hero’s public funeral and move on.
The X-66 fighter jets analyzed Star and Shiggy’s fight. This information could be what Central Hospital needs to deprogram Kurogiri AKA Shirakumo. With him on the heroes’ side, it’d be a lot easier finding All For One. Not to mention all the money they’ll save on gas. Now that’s what I call a win-win for the Hero Safety Commission’s treasury department.
No more foreign heroes? No! I was looking forward to that! More specifically, I was looking forward to seeing Captain Celebrity. Aw shucks! Well, there’s the chance the world’s heroes will take a page from Star And Stripe and head to Japan without authorization. That’d be nice to see. See you soon, my captain. I hope…
This was an…okay chapter. Star’s role in the series left a sour taste in my mouth. Her as a full character could’ve been used better and much much sooner than the final arc. Well, at least Deku might get a new costume. Remember, his old one looks pretty worn out. I hope he keeps the scarf cape. Oh! And he gets a large D on his chest! Look out, evildoers! From now on, if you break the law, you’re getting the D! Hm… We should probably work on the slogan…

Hm……. My brother had a similar thought- that “Tomura Shigaraki” would die and that would save “Tenko Shimura.” Then again; he hasn’t been liking “My Hero” as of late- he didn’t care for My Villain Academia, and people’s complaints about the “Academia” portions of the series.
And NO ONE seems to be liking the rushed feel of the story. And that begins to poke holes in the earlier parts of the story- as it happened with “Naruto” when the ending began to sour.
I wonder what Horikoshi is thinking right now…….

Sometimes I feel like Horikoshi is in a race with the My Hero Vigilantes mangakas on who’ll finish their series first.
