Obtaining One For All is the mid-game goal? Hmm…
Then, what’s AFO’s ultimate goal? If I had to guess: World Domination. Why be content ruling a country when he could rule the entire planet with the combined power of the All For One quirk, One For All, and Star And Stripe’s quirk. Plus, all megalomaniacs want to rule to world. It’s in their contract.
Heteromorphs. Discrimination against them has been peppered throughout the series. Now, Horikoshi’s bringing it to the forefront. I’m excited about it. Horikoshi has done a good job so far blending real world issues into his story, and he’s had a long time to prepare for this one. I’m very hopeful for this sub-plot.
Makes sense too. Why would most heteromorphs want things back to normal? Hero society didn’t exactly work perfectly for them. The Paranormal Liberation Front is their chance at making things better! Better, huh? Remember when I said improving society (and not just going back to how it used to be) was a theme now in a previous post? The former hero society had a LOT of cracks. Those problems need to be addressed before a better society can take its place.
Too bad Spinner and the rest of heteromoph society are merely tools for All For One and Skeptic. Sure, things could be better with them in charge, but history has proven working for people who view you as a means to an end can’t be trusted. Watch your back, Spinner!
Is Shigaraki back in charge of his body? His word bubble font seems to support that. Hmm… Is it time for Shigaraki’s comeback already? Will he use Star’s quirk to kill OG All For One? Well, he’s gotta kill him, eventually. Maybe it happens sooner than we think.
This was a good chapter! I’m looking forward to more Spinner character development and heteromorph discrimination being addressed by heroes at some point. Especially heteromorph heroes like Shoji and Mina. Hey? Star And Stripe? You better not lose your fight with Shigaraki! You’re too awesome to choke so soon. But, I’m not worried. You’re American. And, if your quirk can’t defeat Shigaraki, you can always use guns. Land of the Free. Home of the GLOCK.

I think that Spinner is going to lead a revolution against All For One- and then they’ll back Tomura………If it’s even “Tomura” anymore. He may just be trend follower, but I think he found his place as Tomura’s right hand man and leader of his army. Yeah; I think Spinner is more loyal than the others.
Though if it was ALWAYS All For One’s plan for this to happen; I’m not sure. Like he said: he’s been planning this for a LONG time. He may have calculated for something like this, and is simply “allowing it.”

Whether or not Spinner goes against AFO depends on Shigaraki taking back his body. Even if he merged with AFO, he’s got to be the dominate personality or “Shigaraki” will continue working for AFO.
