I got emotional reading this chapter, Y’all.
Ochaco’s speech wasn’t the stuff of legends, but it was overflowing with love. Love for her friend, her classmates, her teachers, and other fellow heroes. Heroes. Need. Support. Too. The public doesn’t have to keep putting heroes on a pedestal. No, it’s the opposite. Citizens need to realize heroes are people too. And they need their support to continue fighting. Everyone is in this awful situation together and they better start acting like it instead of hating heroes because they can’t save the day all the time, every time.
I love the panel at the end. “The story of how we all became the greatest heroes.” Yes! This is what I wanted! Deku simply becoming the new All Might doesn’t work anymore. One person shouldn’t carry society. It should take ALL of them working together: heroes, citizens, the government, everyone! Teamwork. It’s one of MHA’s themes, Y’all. It’s pretty darn important.
Aizawa is still in the hospital. Glad we got an update.
Still no Toshinori. Guess he’s still taking with Stain.
I can’t wait for Inko to meet Ochaco. Not sure why, I just think they’d get along well.

This was a great chapter! I felt so many emotions reading it. Sadness, hope, joy, pity, love. Horikoshi does human drama well. And when he combines it with his art, there’s almost nothing that can stop him. Bravo! Here’s hoping Kota and Giant Fox Woman are only the beginning of a wave of people standing with Deku. Inko, the other parents, the students, Beyoncé, I want everyone rushing over to support Deku. In fact, just give Sasha Fierce One For All. She’ll have this mess cleaned up before you can say all the single ladies.
