Who’s calling Momonosuke on the haki line? Luffy? Sea Kings? Jonathan Davis? I just hope it’s not another telemarketer..
Let’s see… Luffy fell into the sea, so either Law’s submarine saves him or Sea Kings. Guess I’ll go with Sea Kings assuming they’re the ones giving Momonosuke a migraine. But if I’m right, who called them? Hmm…I doubt Shirahoshi will show up anytime soon so… I’m stumped on this one, Y’all.
Once again, it’s time for everyone’s favorite game: Who’s Dead! On today’s show we have Monkey D. Luffy, Kiku, Kanjuro, and Kin’emon. Let’s start with the easiest. Luffy’s alive. He’s the main character! Kiku? Hmm… Assuming Oda’s genuinely killing off at least some of the samurai, I’d say YES! Next, Kanjuro. Oh, yeah, he’s dead. Killed by Kin’emon is the perfect way for him to go.
And, lastly, Kin’emon himself. …This is a toughie. On one hand, Kin’emon heads the Akazaya Nine giving him a respectable amount of plot armor, buuut he got his head bashed in by Kaido using Supreme King haki. Unless Kin’emon blocked the blow with his own Diana Ross and the Supremes haki he’s a goner.
Kaido knows about Joyboy. That’s pretty important. Few in the One Piece world know about him. Other fans have guessed Kaido learned a bunch of world secrets while part of the Rocks Pirates and I tend to agree. How much do they know? Well, I can at least say I doubt they know what the One Piece is or Laugh Tale’s location. Everything else minus the Void Century or the D.’s or history of devil fruits is up for grabs. On second thought, maybe they know little after all.
This was a good chapter. It’s your classic Luffy Lost to the Big Bad Before Reemerging play from Oda but it’s a classic for a reason. It’s exciting. Gee, I wonder what Momonosuke read in Od*n’s journal making him think he can’t die. Probably something to do with a Kozuki secret. The location of a poneglyph, maybe? Nah. I bet it’s just the place Od*n hid his girly mags. Momonosuke could probably beat Kaido single handedly for access to that.

I think the Heart Pirates are going to save Luffy this time around; I can’t imagine Luffy’s luck NOT landing him on the deck of their sub. And as for what Momonosuke is hearing………I honestly couldn’t tell you. Maybe Zunisha walked all the way to Wano to fulfill their role in all of this “Joyboy” business.
Kiku and Kanjuuro are almost certainly dead. Kin’emon………I feel like the answer will be “Not Yet.” He still has to meet with his wife, and I doubt he’ll let himself die before that happens. So he might die AFTER meeting with her. Then again; it looks like Kaido caved in his spine, head, shoulders, and torso into the lower half of his body(making him kind of the same as when we met him first in the story: Just a pair of legs).
Kaido might know SOMETHING about what’s on Laugh Tale. He and Big Mom certainly seem to think that whatever’s their is going to help them with their little world conquest bit.
We’re closing in on Mainland Wano. Get ready for “Age Of Ultron” parallel’s!!
