Info Dump Alert! A lot of knowledge got dropped this chapter. Let’s sort through it together, shall we?

First up, what’s up with the 2nd and 3rd Users? Why were they standing away and not talking? Horikoshi is obviously keeping as much info about them from us as possible. I think it’s safe to say their quirks are the final ones Deku gets, as well as they’ll be the last Users we’ll get details on. Again I ask, why? Guilt? Were these two villains or former villains? Members of the Liberation Army along with Destro? I’m really interested in knowing what their deal is.

Oh! And for the record, neither the 2nd or 3rd User’s hair matches AFO’s OG Bodyguard or Oji Harima. So, my Harima’s a OFA User theory is dead, BUT he still could’ve been a vigilante.

Big respect to the 4th User, Hikage Shinomori! His decision to build up power as much as he could is probably a big reason OFA is as powerful as it is now. In fact, I’d go as far to say that he’s the reason AFO doesn’t have the One For All quirk. Let me explain. If AFO’s been trying to keep tabs on the quirk while letting it build up in power, Shinomori spiking its power up could’ve caught AFO off-guard. And, by the time the Overlord of Evil decided to cash it in and steal the quirk for himself, Toshinori had already escaped abroad. Basically, what I’m saying is AFO underestimated how quickly OFA grew in power, resulting in getting his body wrecked by All Might.

We also got to see The 4th using his quirk. It was subtle, but did you see Shinomori dodging Banjo’s whips? Yep, that’s what Deku’s gonna be doing once he masters Danger Sense. We all knew the quirk was pretty much Spider-Man’s Spidey Sense, but know we know it’s true without a doubt.

This chapter also raises the stakes for our little Deku. The option of passing the OFA quirk if he failed was always on table…until now. This is it. One For All has gotten way too powerful. Someone who already owns a quirk can’t inherit it anymore, and after the All For One quirk is gone there’s no reason to keep passing OFA. Buuuuut, that’s all riding on Deku defeating Shigaraki.

Or should I say riding on Deku killing Shigaraki. Nana got straight to the point, didn’t she? If Deku wants to truly destroy the All For One quirk, then it’s user(s) must die. I really hope Nana or Deku brings up All Might intending to kill AFO during their first fight. I feel like that’s strangely never mentioned, even though heroes killing villains seem to be a big no-no except for the nightmarish Nomu and Endeavor deciding to kill Shigaraki due to his immeasurable threat to society. I can’t say Nana and Endeavor are wrong. And, I doubt the Hero Safety Commission would have a problem with Deku punching Shigaraki’s face off, so it all come down to Deku’s morals. Will he try to “save” Shigaraki first?

Probably. But, one way or another, the threat of the All For One quirk must be neutralized by the end of the series.

This was a good chapter. We got more information on the One For All quirk, and who doesn’t like that? We didn’t get all the answers, but that’s okay. Horikoshi still fed us well today. And I didn’t even talk about the serving of Toshinori’s age range Hori gave for dessert. The guy had OFA for 40 years! That makes him at least 58. And that’s assuming Nana gave him OFA at 18. She probably transferred it even earlier! Damn, Toshinori! You looking good for your age. It’s amazing how young you can look cutting beef, milk, and candy corn out of your diet.
