We got the team-up. We got a goal. We got a villain. Don’t fret. Just come as you are.
Rappa, Mirko, and O’Clock working together. I honestly didn’t think about that happening until it did. I love it! But, who’s the person in the hoodie at the end? Hoodie… Oh! Hood! Remember him? The first High-End that fought Endeavor and Hawks in the main series? The one who’s base body was an underground fighter? Yeah, I guess it’s him, but is Pre-Hood worthy of being called a “top resource” by AFO?

Well, maybe Pre-Hood was slowly altered over time. An upgrade here, an upgrade there until BAM, welcome to High-End town. Or, maybe it has something to do with Pre-Hood’s quirk. Hm? What is Pre-Hood’s quirk? If I had to guess I’d say it’s flying (Hood could fly.). Remember, My Hero Vigilantes is about speed, and no way a slowpoke stands a chance against Mirko, Rappa, and O’Clock. Add a trigger boost and/or some upgrades by Ujiko and got ourselves a huge threat. Pre-Hood might even be a Number! Now that’s what I would call a top resource!
Who’s using the Warp Gate quirk? Could it be Kurogiri assisting All For One? It did seem like All For One was talking to someone at the end, but it didn’t sound like the prim and proper Kurogiri. My guess is Ujiko watching the live feed too while his BFF All For One steals any out-of-control quirk he’s interested in. Ujiko, huh? Just one more reason to think Pre-Hood could be a Number.

This was a good chapter. In typical Vigilantes fashion, we get the slow arc build-up until reaching the climax. I’m excited to see our Defenders working together and how that could be a detriment to the trio. Mirko hates team-ups for a reason, you know? Did whatever gave her that conclusion happen at the Underground Masquerade? Guess we’ll find out. Or, not. Frankly, as long as Netflix’s Iron Fist doesn’t show up I’m good either way.

Season 1 of “Iron Fist-” YES. Not the best. Season 2- STEP UP! It wasn’t THAT bad…….at least; not in my mind.
And yeah; whatever happens here could be what soured Mirko on the concept of team ups. I like how these later portions of “Vigilantes” are starting to sink up with the main story. I seems like they’re building closer and closer until the end sinks up with chapter 1 of the main series. Maybe seeing Koichi watching the news and hearing about a kid trying to save someone from a Sludge villain.
It’s also possible that this is Hood- I can definitely see this being it. And as far as this Warp Gate quirk goes…….I feel like it’s All For One using it until they make Kurogiri. I’m not sure of the timeline at this point, but I don’t think they’d have Kurogiri ready. if I’m remembering correctly; he was made to be Tomura’s guardian. And I doubt they’d have found him at the time of this flashback.

Yeah, I agree it’s most likely All For One using Warp Gate. I think it’s too early for Kurogiri.
