No. 6 AKA Nomura AKA Rocks AKA O’clock II. You, my evil friend, screwed up big time. How? Well, you underestimated The Crawler. I can’t help but think of All For One right now. He spent decades letting the One For All quirk build up to a point where it ultimately defeated him.
And, now we have No. 6. As predicted, he wants to use Pop’s death as a jumping off point for his hero career while at the same time blaming the tragedy on Koichi. But, there’s one problem: Koichi’s strong. Stronger than No. 6 predicted. His Slide and Glide quirk is still evolving. And, even more so, Koichi is trying to save his friend. And, if there’s one thing we know about Koichi is that he’s at his best when helping people. Yep, The Crawler is at the top of his game right now and from the looks of things he’s gonna rise even higher.

Again, I’m reminded of the main series. There we have the seemingly overpowered final villain up against the main protagonist who has yet to unlock the full power of his quirk. Sounds familiar? Koichi’s force fields under his feet changed. They grew smaller but three smaller fields now surround the main fields. What does that mean? For one thing, he’s even faster now! The Crawler dodged No. 6’s attack. All while holding Pop! Yeah, that happened. As I said, No. 6 screwed up big time by underestimating Koichi.
I was wrong about No. 6 shooting Pop with a bullet last chapter so there’s an even better chance she’ll survive if Koichi can get Pop to Soga. Uh-oh! No. 6 still doesn’t know about Soga and his friends ready to remove Queen Bee from Pop. That’s mistake #2, No. 6. Your manufactured tragic scenario is slipping further away.
Speaking of #2, Endeavor’s back in the game. Is that mistake #3 for No. 6? His third strike, if you will? He can’t have a hero debut if Endeavor hogs all the glory, right? My guess is No. 6 will try to low-key sabotage Endeavor’s efforts which will allow Koichi to at least be able to hand Pop off to Soga. No. 6 may even try to off Endeavor like he did those D-list heroes but that ain’t happening. This is the part of the story when No. 6’s plan begins to fall apart. He’s about the learn the hard way he’s not as smart as he thinks he is.

This was a great chapter! No. 6 and Koichi interacting was a long time coming. And, Koichi now knows this guy is bad news despite him claiming to be a hero. Start the clock, y’all. Let’s see how long it’ll take for No. 6 to crack under the pressure. His perfect plan is about to fall apart and I can’t wait to see him get his just desserts. Give him the whole breakfast platter while we’re at it. That’s right. Choke on those hash browns, No. 6.

I don’t think he realizes it. He doesn’t seem to think The Crawler is much of a threat. And, he’s egotistical enough to think he’s stronger than Endeavor.
Granted, he is very powerful, but with Soga in full tactical mode (and seemingly knowing everything KD knew which may include how Overclock works) and Detective Tsukauchi being the brains of this capture villain mission, it’s only a matter of time before No. 6 is exposed.
But, that doesn’t mean he won’t try to “burn it all down” when his hero dream is crushed. Maybe he’s got a bunch of exploding monsters stashed and ready somewhere.
