Koichi mastering Slide & Glide or Deku unlocking Nana Shimura’s Float Quirk? Who will be the first to master flying?

Bee Pop’s ultimate goal is revenge. If she can’t have Koichi she’ll kill herself and be forever bound to him through regret. Regret he couldn’t save her. Save his friend. And, that’s what Koichi and Pop are. Friends.
I admit I never really noticed how close they became as simply friends. They hang out together, Koichi supports Pop’s singing career while Pop supports Koichi’s vigilante hobby. They’ve grow closer and closer as a true team. No, they’re not simply friends. They are BEST friends. And, most people will tell you their soul mate is their best friend.
Koichi doesn’t have to save Pop because he’s in love with her, but that they’re the truest of friends. He’s giving everything he’s got to save Pop. No speeches. No threats. Just trying to reach her, screaming her name. It’s no wonder Bee Pop was affected by his tenacity. How couldn’t she be?! The man she thought didn’t love her is risking his life for her. Glad she was able to break free from Queen Bee’s influence.

And, then No. 6 shot her.
Let me get this outta the way first, I don’t think Pop’s gonna die. She’ll need medical attention, yes, but remember Soga was planning on operating on Pop to get Queen Bee out of her body. It’s safe to say he’ll have a little something to deal with her being shot. At least, keeping her alive long enough to remove Queen Bee and get her to an actual hospital. Soga, you magnificent medical MVP motherf*cker! I’m loving you more and more with every chapter.
But what about No. 6? He won’t just let Koichi and Pop get away, will he? Well, we still haven’t seen Koichi fully fly yet. Perhaps, his desperation to get Pop to Soga for treatment will activate it. And, then there’s Endeavor. Koichi will have to dodge him for a while too, but Koichi has an unlikely ally looking out for him: Detective Tsukauchi.
Endeavor may have a one track mind but Tsukauchi knows The Crawler and Pop Step are good people, even if they’re vigilantes. He’ll be looking for why all this is happening. And, it won’t be long before he figures out someone there is the real villain and that’s when he’ll point Endeavor to the true butt that needs kicking. Ah, yes, the ole’ heroes-fight-each-other-then-team-up-to-fight-the-real-threat trope. It’s a comic book classic, y’all.

This was a fantastic chapter. I love everything about it, from Pop’s realistic dreams of her and Koichi to the Naruhata supporting characters looking on to No. 6 using a gun (a very raw and vicious method) rather than his powers. The only problem I had was Bee Pop’s song. It needed backup singers. And, a rap in the middle to give it street cred. And, lest not forget a dance number. Come on, Pop, a gun shot might kill you, but a little choreography won’t.

Thanks for reminding me that there was a chapter; I completely forgot. It was a pretty good chapter, huh? I think her song was pretty good; I usually don’t understand song lyrics very well. But I understood what she was saying.
