Can’t a couple of undercover pirates and starving citizens get a little piece around here?
Guess not. Kaidou’s forces have their eyes on Otama and her ability to tame wild animals. Why? Who cares if she can do that? Unless there’s an animal some evil owner wants to be tamed. Doubtful anyone from Team Kaidou owns an out of control pet. That leaves a Wano government official. Maybe Shogun Orochi himself!
Anyway, Otama was successfully kidnapped. And, you can’t be surprised it succeeded, freaking Bat-Man planned the attack! Another big take away is Okiku being a samurai (her being tall, a trait you’re a badass in One Piece, was a clue). Looks like she isn’t some one and done character and is our official Wano Nami clone. Can’t wait to learn her backstory.
Three Headliners? We got the wildcard Hawkings. I’d say out of the last two, Holdem and Speed, one is fodder and the other is a mid-level threat. Hard to see Luffy and Zoro (Dude got bandages already!) having too much trouble against smile zoans. And our buddy, Law, is joining in the fun too! Well, Kaidou finding out the Straw Hats and Heart Pirates are on Wano can happen. Oh, excuse me, WILL happen. This is Luffy and Zoro we’re talking about. This incident will definitely alert Kaidou. Uh oh!
Hate to be that guy who has to tell him. But, I’m sure he’ll calmly accept that the Pirate Alliance responsible for wreaking the production of his Smile and Sad factories is on his island. Yep, he’ll probably laugh it off. So, uh, why don’t you tell him, okay? I-I’ll be riiiiight behind you, hee hee hee.
