If there’s one thing people love about One Piece is its world building and we’re getting a huge helping throughout the Reverie.
First things first, Team Luffy Allies have finally meet! Happy it was done early since we knew it was coming. Those Nami clones are taking over the world. We got Blue Name, Pink Nami, Big Nami and even Old Nami. I swear if Oda one day reveals all Nami clone are actually the result of DNA manipulation during the Void Century I’d lose my mind.
Oh, hey, Charlos is back and he’s gonna fuck everything up. I just know it. Speaking of fucked up, our Royal Luffy League will no doubt see the horrors of Marijoa. Hmm. I wonder if Vivi and Dalton already know what’s up? Well, that won’t be the only bad news because I’m sure the World Government has a panel just for discussing what to do about Strawhat Luffy. Just hope no one in the league lets it slip they like the rubber pirate.
Doflamingo’s stuck in Impel Down’s Level 6 talking about a secret Marijoa treasure just as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself, Miss Mary J. Blige enters the One Piece universe! She’s on stairs (No surprise there if you’ve seen her I’m Goin’ Down video.) then enters a cold place. I wonder if she lookin’ for a Real Love? Nope, she’s standing in front of a large preserved straw hat. You Bring Me Joy…as in Joy Boy? Could we see a flashback of some kind coming? Thinking about it, we don’t know the story behind Gol D. Roger’s straw hat. We don’t even know why the Pirate King became a pirate in the first place. Wow! I can’t believe I never thought about it until this chapter. All I Can Say is Gol knew what’s up and one day Oda will Reminisce to where we’ll see it all go down. At least, that’s The Message I got from this chapter. Rah-rah Reverie!
