You telling me you didn’t consider Class B using their most dangerous teammate as bait? She was alone for goodness sake! Well, looks like Shinso pulled your butts out the fire, for now.

Yes, kiddies. As predicted, it’s Class A vs Class B in a 4 v 4 (5) battles. As per shounen rules, Shinso will save the day, securing Class A’s first win then, most likely, lose against Deku. But, it’s all about the journey so it should be fun.

Let’s talk about the other match-ups!

Wait. Wait. Wait! Let’s back it up.
Okay, so, Deku talked to Toshinori about his dream and hand explosion. Toshinori also has no idea what “singularity” the First mentioned means. Could One For All still be mutating? Or, is it just Deku’s genes because he may be related to the First (my crack theory). Either way, put a pin in it because I doubt I’ll come up again soon.

Who are they?

The first One For All user and All For One, just who the heck are they? Is this a Gol D. Roger thing where the author didn’t draw an important character’s face because it made them mysterious and cool? Or, is there more to it?

Most of us know by now Hirokoshi loves Star Wars, so some fans have made a parallel between AFO/Deku and Darth Vader/Luke theorizing AFO is Deku’s real father. I don’t agree, but something else may be going on. Like, maybe:

The OFA/AFO brothers are Deku’s ancestors.

First Shoto, now Endeavor. Eye healing surgery in MHA world is amazing!

What’s there to say that hasn’t already been said? Endeavor’s a hero, but he still sucks as a parent. Should the Todoroki siblings forgive him (Yes. No. Yes, but don’t tell him. Hmm…)? Should Rei forgive him (Yes, to that. Only because forgiveness allows her to move on. BUT, that doesn’t mean everything’s okay and she can’t get a divorce.)? Yeesh, human nature is quite the complex mishmash, huh? Who’s to say what’s correct? Do I see them all chumming by the end of the series? SHOULD they be like that by the end of the series? There’s no easy answer. Redemption is an ongoing process—if you’re able to even start it. There’re no set of instructions. Plus it depends on what the person did, for how long, why and many, many other factors. It’s a personal process for both the guilty and the victim.

I overthought what Dabi would do. Instead of dropping drama bombs he just wanted to kill heroes. Oh, well. Could Dabi had taken down Mirko? Maybe, but he still had Hawks and who knows what else coming. Retreating was the smart play. But, the way Dabi escapes is most intriguing. The same teleportation quirk All For One had was used on Dabi. That can mean only one thing: The league only needs DNA to copy quirk powers. Which also means the league can cook up as many High End nomus as they want. Uh oh! So, who is Ujiko? My guess it’s the guy behind the nomu themselves, AFO’s doctor.

How to be the Symbol of Peace? Use what you know and make it your own.

There was a time Endeavor would’ve never imitated All Might. No Plus Ultra, no arm raised pose, was never going to happen. But, here we are. Endeavor did just that. So, what does that mean? I think it means Endeavor is ready to be the Symbol of Peace even if it means swallowing his pride. He did just that when asking Toshinori for advice and trying to (somewhat) patch things up with Shouto. He’s changing and surprisingly, it’s by choice!

Should I be subtle? Maybe, I should wait? Nah! I’ll say it now. I’m glad Endeavor is protecting people, but he’s still a crappy human being. That’s right, people are complicated and sometimes that includes our fictional heroes.

Going to miss you, High End. You almost won, but the power of team-ups can’t be denied. I’m sure others noticed that too and hero teams on a whole will increase. Sure, High End could escape, but that will send the public over the edge, not that it’ll take much anymore. Nope. Endeavor’s going out like a hero and you can’t be a hero in a superhero story unless you beat the villain. …Yeah, you can, but this is My Hero Academia. This ain’t a Neil Gaiman comic.

Endeavor has been injured and quite possibly lost his eye. I feel so bad for him…is what I’d say if he wasn’t a shitty person. Yes, I get it. He’s trying not to be human garbage anymore but trying and being are two different things. I hope he dies. No, wait. If he dies he can’t apologize to his family. Please live Endeavor!

Hawks is a laid back mofo but he gets the job done. Nice to see Destro and the quirk liberation ideology get mentioned. Has to be a lot of angry people in the world who can’t use their quirks. The price of freedom or government suppression, you decide.

Not much else happens. Endeavor pals around with Hawks who learn they’re some League shenanigans happening all over the country. Maybe. Either someone is spreading rumors or there are nomu factories all over the place. Think there’s one across my street. Would explain my new neighbor’s exposed brain. And, here I thought he was cosplaying, every day, for two months. Oh, well, live and learn.
