Silly me. Until Shigaraki appeared before Deku & Bakugo I actually thought those two young heroes stood a chance. Pack your bags, Deku. Japan isn’t big enough for you and Shiggy anymore.

Of course, that depends on whether the heroes can beat Super Shigaraki and we all know that’s not happening. Unless Shiggy dies this arc, I have a feeling Gran Torino will do what he did to a young All Might and ship Deku’s 30% butt to America until it’s safe to come back. Naturally, Torino’s plan won’t work but It’d be nice seeing Deku in the US for awhile, meeting his father (Yeah, I think his dad’s in America) and Captain Celebrity. Bakugo will no doubt join him if he does leave the country because it’s Bakugo. OOOOH! There’s just so many options Horikoshi can go with at the moment. Not only with how this arc will end, but how these events will impact future arcs. I’m so excited, y’all!

Because someone’s gonna literally pay for all this destruction and it won’t be the Japanese Government. Your ass? Ha! Ha! Ha! No. Endeavor’s coming to hand you your invoice.

So, Shigaraki can choose what he wants to decay now. Pretty useful now that he has the All For One quirk. Also, we get another tease of upcoming erasure bullets when we learn Ujiko was (I think) replicating Eri’s blood. At this point, I’m thinking the erasure bullets will be a part of Shigaraki’s endgame. Makes sense. It’s a concept so awesome Horikoshi must be saving it for at or near the end of the series.

Eri’s blood, huh? It’d be really f-ed up if Shiggy got his hands on her Rewind quirk. He can basically use it as a healing quirk like Overhaul did. Yep, I’m gonna officially say he’s getting Rewind at some point. Either the original or a copy.

And to think, all that destruction could’ve been avoided if X-Limp didn’t destroy the coffee maker. The new Lord of Evil doesn’t handle mornings very well.

Where’s James Janisse when you need him? Is 13 dead? How about the Wild Wild Pussycats? Wash? Oh, who am I kidding? No one can kill Wash! Besides, they can just bubble themselves to escape. But, yeah, heroes are dying, y’all. And, big named ones at that like Crust and X-Lee. Oh, X-Learn, I think I’ll miss you the most. *sobs on morning donuts*

So, the one talking to Deku was The First User and not Nana Shimura. Okay. Interesting how he confirms Shigaraki broke free from the “shackles of humanity”. Basically, making sure Deku and the audience knows Shiggy is doing all this by choice. Sure, he was manipulated as a young kid by All For One, but aren’t all kids indoctrinated? Look, it’s not like you choose to speak English or whatever you native language is. Kids are a blank slate which is filled to some point by their caregivers and society. …Um, what was I talking about again? Oh, who cares. My guy X-Lamb is dead. WHY HORIKOSHI?! WHY!!!!!

“Should we get started early?” Hm…what does Dabi mean? And, note that he said we. Could my theory Dabi was recruiting his own separate team all this time instead of for the League of Villains be true?

Oh, my sweet Dabi. You really need an ice quirk to unlock your full fire potential, don’t you? Everything you do screams you’re getting one. And, hey! It’d be kinda fun seeing an ice/fire Dabi going up against his hero counterpart, Todoroki.

Tokoyami was great in this chapter. Saving Hawks, escaping Fat Gum’s tummy, this guy is on the road to hitting the Top 10 in the future along with Class A’s Big Three.

It was hinted All For One and One For All were connected on a metaphysical level but I never expected Nana to conference call Shigaraki before leaving Deku a voicemail warning. I wonder if she’s got Obi-Wan’s number?

Since I already mentioned her, let’s start with Nana Shimura. If she was the one at the end of the chapter who warned Deku, it’s safe to say she was really in Shigaraki’s dream. Were the rest of the Shimura Family “real” too? Maybe. But, I bet the All For One we saw was the real deal too! We also got a low-key confirmation the hand Shigaraki kept on the back of his head was Nana’s. Geez, AFO! Can you not be an asshole for one damn minute?!

The heroes have all reached the lab. The High-Ends are getting trashed. Ujiko is captured. Shigaraki is “dead”. All’s well that ends well.

Yeah, right! We all know Shigaraki’s waking up. Probably through sheer willpower. Even at 75%, he’s the culmination of Ujiko and All For One’s dream. Hmm… What exactly does that mean? For Ujiko, I can see it as him making the ultimate being or body.

For All For One, it may have something to do with his quirk’s weakness. Yeah, weakness. Think about it, why did AFO have a new set of quirks during his fight with All Might at Kamino? Why is AFO so obsessed with One For All? There’s more going on here than we realize. Maybe the reason is even the great AFO can only hold a certain number of quirks and that their power takes a toll on his body. And, with quirks getting stronger and stronger (the Quirk Singularity Theory), AFO’s body, even kept young with some anti-aging quirk, can’t keep up. Add All Might trashing his body during their first battle and we have a situation where AFO needs a serious upgrade.

Shigaraki’s at 75%.

What’s left to say? This was a super straight forward chapter, y’all. Endeavor and friends came backing up Mirko who managed to break the glass barrier containing Shigaraki. He’ll wake up incomplete, which paired with Aizawa, will help (most of) the heroes survive the fight. But, let’s be real, it’s gonna get real nasty once Shiggy wakes up. I’m keeping Crust on death watch. All that’s left to seal the deal is him announcing out of nowhere he’s retiring next month.

Why’s Aizawa there? No, I’m talking from a meta-perspective, not in-story. Will his quirk allow most of them to escape to fight another day, or will it be revealed Shigaraki can easily counter Aizawa? I hope it’s the latter. Let’s take Aizawa’s Erasure quirk off the table right now, removing any hope of it saving the day.

Where the hell do I start? You know what? Let’s start by giving props to Tokoyami and Endeavor, the ultimate wingmen.

Horikoshi, now you’re just being a troll, blacking out Dabi’s reveal like that. We all know he’s Toya. Stop milking that cow and tell us, damn it! Screw you! If you won’t tell us who he is, Hawks will. Well, he may if he doesn’t die first. He could be getting the Sir Nighteye treatment, dying from his injuries. In fact, put me down for Hawks dying BUT his recorder having Dabi’s confession on it. Remember that? Yeah, it’s gonna come into play eventually.

Dabi fooled me, y’all. I really thought he was all in with the League of Villains. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure he cares somewhat for the gang, but in the end, they’re a means to an end. That end being a world like what Stain envisions. That’s right, kiddies. Dabi’s still a Stain fanboy. What a reveal! I thought he simply dropped it, but no, Horikoshi was using it as Dabi’s motivation this whole damn time! Damn. Just…damn.

Horikoshi. How could you kill him? How could you kill Twice’s doubles, you fiend! Wait, you thought I was talking about the real Twice? Ahahaha!

He’s not dead.

*sigh* I’m been bouncing back and forth over whether Twice is dead since I first read this chapter days ago. Was his speech to Toga and Mr. Compress his dying words? Could Twice somehow survive and pull off a win for the Paranormal Liberation Army? Well…yes and no.

Hear me out. Hawks said it himself he’s very good at avoiding a person’s vitals when attacking if he wants. Check it out:

What is Hawks aiming for? Twice’s heart? Maybe, but I doubt it. His lung? Possible. Wherever Hawks is going for I’m thinking he went for a vital organ or something that would cause him to lose consciousness from it plus the damage he’s already received.

So, if I’m right, was it all a fake-out? Not really. Dead or not, Twice is down for the count, completing Hawks’ mission. All he has to do now is grab Twice and retreat. Twice may not be dead, be he won’t be doing much of anything for a long time.

We got confirmation Tokoyami can control Dark Shadow in the dark. Them and Kaminari. Hm, looks like everyone’s leveled up during the time skip. Time to step up, Sugarman! I wanna see you spouting Maya Angelou quotes while punching people in the face!

Calm down, Re-Destro fans! He’s not “weak”, he simply lost because one of his legs broke. The bigger question is if he can still fight? If not, then the Paranormal Liberation Front has lost one of their two greatest physical powerhouses at Gunga Villa. The other being Gigantomachia who’s watching Animal Crossing Twitch streamers on his phone. Looks like he’s not to be bothered even with the mansion above collapsing. Fat Gum reveals he won’t budge unless he’s got to use the bathroom or Shigaraki orders him to attack. And, let me tell ya, that guy can hold his bladder for days!
