We have a lot to talk about. Sike! No, we don’t. Shigaraki took every hero down one by one until Deku arrived. That’s it. Oh! And Mirio’s got a fat ass. How fat? Like DC Comic’s Nightwing fat? Which heroic posterior’s bigger? Let’s discuss.
Blackbeard’s in the chapter. Instant 10 out of 10.
Well hello there, Blackbeard! How’s you and you’re 3.996 billion berri bounty? Geez, that’s high! Almost like you’re gonna be the final antagonist or something. So, why did Blackbeard kidnap Koby? Or did Koby go with Blackbeard willingly? Maybe the plucky naval officer wanted to speak with ex-admiral Kuzan? Hmm…
Why does Blackbeard want Hancock’s power? Does he want to give it to a member of his crew? Or, is it simply too broken a power for anyone not on his team to wield? I’d say it’s the second reason. Can’t have instant KO devil fruits like that putting Teech’s plans at risk. Basically, Boa Hancock is a liability who had to be taken off the board.
Hancock can’t handle that BBC (Big Blackbeard Captain).
And, what’s the current pirate empress gonna do now? Where will she go? I guess she could find Luffy or someone who might know where he is. Maybe she’ll track down a member of the Straw Hat Fleet. That would be a fun way to bring them back into the story.
Masks #1 – The Mask Without A Face (Written by Kid Toussaint, Art by Joël JURION) tells the story of several kids who somehow gain special masks, granting them unique abilities. But what made me want to share this comic are the characters themselves. Siera is a refugee living in France (This is originally a French book.). She’s smart, popular, and lives with a loving family. Unfortunately, she has a secret that could ruin her hard earned new life.
Al is an athletic guy with a cute girlfriend, but he also holds a secret that could ruin their relationship.
Hector and Jorge are two kids from Veracruz looking to make a quick buck. They get caught up with dangerous gangsters carrying even more dangerous cargo and things go downhill quickly.
You know what? I’m getting sick and tired of all the pro-heroes who appeared in My Hero Vigilantes dying and/or getting disfigured. Endeavor, Mirko, Ingenium, Eraserhead, Best Jeanist (fake died), Sir Nighteye, Midnight, All Might (Technically is gone.), and Mirko. Who’s next? Fat Gum? Burnin? And, yes, I know I said Mirko twice. It’s because she’s lost her other arm in this chapter. Yeesh!
Something’s affecting All For Shiggy’s perfect body. Did Bakugo’s attack mess him up more than he thought, or is it more psychological? Is “Tenko” at work here? Who knows? I sure don’t. Let me be honest here: I don’t like Deku wanting to “save” Shigaraki. It get it’s one of My Hero’s themes but I feel Shigaraki’s caused way too much death and destruction for that to even be an option anymore. Yes, he was groomed by All For One and yes, he’s also a victim of that monster. But, again, he’s gone past the point of no return. Just like AFO should be put down for good, so should Shigaraki.
You’re so cool, Mirko. Give me fiv— Oh…! Never mind.
Ah, yes, I love bounty chapters. It’s always nice seeing how dangerous the World Government considers the Straw Hats. Although, it’s weird Chopper’s considered a “senior officer” but still has a joke bounty. Heh. Senior Officers. I love seeing the crew referred to as that. So cool!
Not gonna comment on all the bounties, just the ones I find interesting, such as Franky not getting a bounty picture (It’s a picture of the Thousand Sunny instead.). That can’t be just a one-off joke. Something more’s going on here. Could it have something to do with Vegapunk? Or Franky’s parents? Hmm…
Cotton Candy Lover, Cat Burglar. Soul King. Cyborg. God. It’s like a game of Dungeons & Dragons on acid.
Crust. Star And Stripe. And, now, Edgeshot. Horikoshi just can’t stop killing heroes before they’re properly developed. Sure, Edgeshot’s been around, but did you know he was good friends with Best Jeanist since high school until this chapter? Did the two ever reference their past or joke/talk in a way showing they’re lifelong pals? Nope. It’s just thrown in at the last second. And poor Midnight had some development, but what did that get her? Off-screened killed. Yeah, I haven’t forgotten. Why are you so against giving pro heroes their proper due, Horikoshi? I-I just don’t get it.
All For One’s ready to unleash his abs upon the world
All For One brought sexy back. You other villains don’t know how to act.
All For One’s healed?! Uh-oh! Either he’s got the world’s most talented plastic surgeon on his side or that needle we last saw him with contained Eri’s blood. Is this the final payoff to Tomura stealing Overhaul’s research? Looks like it. But instead of manufacturing quirk erasing weapons, the yummy Overlord of Evil used it to recover from All Might’s attack. Smart.
What does this mean for the injured Endeavor, Hawks and everyone else and Gunga Villa ruins? Well, they’re screwed! At least they are without backup. Um…Skycrawler? You comin’ or what?
AFO’s dream of becoming a Calvin Klein underwear model can finally come true
What the fork, Oda?! Yamato isn’t joining the Straw Hats? Then why has the story heavily implied he is? That’s bullshit and you know it. It was a done deal and you just have Yamato do an 180 on the Wano arc’s last chapter? Maybe if he had a satisfying reason to stay but just because Oden traveled Wano first he’s gonna too? Bleh! Total failure, Oda-sensei.
Now, what I did like about the chapter was Momonosuke and Luffy’s goodbye. It’s so heartwarming! A good sendoff to both Momo and Kin’emon who’ve been with the Straw Hats for years in our time. Perfect.
Congrats, Yamato! You’re now as annoying to me and the original Od*n. Here’s your complimentary roll of sand paper toilet tissue.
Sir Crocodile and Mihawk better get clown daddy his money.
Or not. No doubt Crocodile and Mihawk are using Buggy for their own ends. Why should they take all the heat from the Navy when they can pretend to follow Buggy the Meat Shield? There may even be more to it than that, but we’ll have to wait and see.
You could say Buggy’s Cross Guild placing bounties on Navy personnel is a pimp move. Buggy actively going against the Navy, and by extension the World Government, in the current revolution climate definitely helped earn his Emperor status along with filling his crew with powerhouses. The Clown Prince of Sea Crime’s a fool, but he’s ain’t stupid.

Caribou’s still a creep. Doesn’t he know “snitches get haki stitches”? So, are we all in agreement Blackbeard’s the “certain someone” Caribou’s talking about? It sure as hell ain’t Shanks or A Pimp Named Buggy. And no one else is worth Oda being so vague about it, so that’s that. Not to mention, Blackbeard has Whitebeard’s quake-quake powers. Knocking down Wano’s rocky barrier and stealing the ancient weapon shouldn’t pose a problem. Now that I think about, if the Blackbeard Pirates are truly the Anti-Straw Hats, they’ll need a formable ship to compete with the Thousand Sunny. Guess that’s where Pluton comes in!
Is Katsuki Bakugo truly dead? Horikoshi sure wants us to think that. Most of the chapter was dedicated to giving Dynamight a heroic end. Hori even showed Bakugo’s heart getting stabbed. Hmm… This is a toughie. The only way I see Bakugo getting saved is Eri, but she’s not there. Now, could someone have developed a tweaked version of Overhaul’s quirk erasure formula? One that could rewind someone back a minute or so? That’s the only thing I can come up with and it’s one heck of a Hail Mary.
If this was One Piece, all he’d need is some bandages and a post fight afterparty.
