The giants of Elbaph worship the Sun God, Nika. The World Government was to erase anything and anyone connected to him or the Void Century. Doesn’t take a socially awkward One Piece fan with too much time on his hands to figure out Elbaph’s days are numbered!
But why hasn’t the World Government destroyed Elbaph already, you ask? Simple. They can’t!
Elbaph is an island full of warrior giants, for one. That’s more than enough to give the World Government pause. Then, there’s the island’s location in lawless/Yonko territory. Sure, that’s another big problem but Elbaph has been around for centuries, right? You’d think it be worth it to the Five Elders and King Im to destroy the country hundreds of years ago. So, again, why not?
Admiral Kizaru has officially denied attending the world’s largest legalize marijuana rally hosted by Dewing D. Rugs last week as a guest. At a news press conference yesterday, the decorated navy admiral cleared the air by explaining very slowly why his attendance there was only to provide security and maintain order.
“I was there to do my job and only my job. Besides, the good stuff was already sold out. I-It’s my job to know this kind of thing. God, I’m hungry.”
It was later explained by Vice Admiral Smoker that Kizaru was filling in for Admiral Ryokugyu who was hesitint to attend such a rally, fearing for his life due to his devil fruit ability.
We’ve reached out to Mr. Rugs—who currently lives on a farm in the Lulusia Kingdom with his wife and their three children—for comment, but he has yet to return our calls.
Now’s as good a time as ever for Deku to join the army. Get it? ARMy? No, you shut up!
I hate All For One as the final villain. I hate Shigaraki’s growth being all for nothing. But, I’m not gonna dwell on it this chapter. Talking about it ad nauseum would be underhanded of me. Ah! See what I did there?! …Sorry, Deku.
Deku lost the arms race against Shigaraki. And, AFO all but confirmed the young hero no longer has One For All. Where’s Eri when you need her? Seriously. Deku needs Eri, big time. I guess Aizawa will warp him to Eri’s location so she can Rewind his arms and bring One For All back. But, didn’t Ectoplasm say Eri’s not at full power? How is she gonna pull this off? Whatever. I wash my hands with this topic. Oops! Sorry, Deku.
Look on the bright side, Deku: Think of all the money you’re gonna save after canceling your OnlyFans subscriptions.
Kōhei Horikoshi, famed creator of one of the greatest manga/anime of all time, My Hero Academia, has recently come under fire over comments made about about Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker.
According to an interview published in The Officially Unofficial Star Wars Fans monthly magazine, Horikoshi-sama was quoted saying the last movie in the Star Wars sequel trilogy is “enjoyable in only a couple parts” then goes further to say “It was a Star Wars movie with lots of action and surprises. I may watch it again one day, if I’m bored.”
The One Piece fan community is all abuzz over a possible song title list leak for the beloved Netflix live action adaption’s highly anticipated second season that’s currently still in-development and set to premiere on Netflix most likely next year.
Superfluous debates have exploded across the internet about whether the leak is real. And, if so, whether the infamous list is complete or even final.
Releasing content on a regular basis can be difficult for anyone, be it a blog post, video, or review. Now imagine having to create a fifteen to seventeen page comic almost EVERY SINGLE WEEK. A seemingly impossible schedule like that is what’s expected of weekly manga creators, or mangka-ka, all the time.
Surprisingly enough, some very successful manga-ka have made it their mission to actively delay their works on a constant basis. And, as a result, their series have gained greater levels of popularity as well as an increase in visual quality.
Some of the professionals on this list may surprise some of you, while most of you savvy regular weekly series fans have already guessed at least half of the people I’m about to mention.
Let’s get to it!
Number Ten on the list of the Most Popular Procrastinating Manga Creators of All Time is …
Last week, the non-profit animal rights organization, PETA, released an official statement condemning the designation of Straw Hat Crew member Tony Tony Chopper as “Emergency Food”.
“PETA recognizes Tony Tony Chopper as an intelligent creature capable of fulfilling the same sailing duties expected of any other pirate of any other species. Any animal forced to live under constant threat of death will no doubt cause said creature enormous emotional and psychological stress and should be considered abuse.”
The statement goes further saying that the talking reindeer should immediately be returned to his native island to live out his days with his own species.
Would’ve been nice if Shigaraki was the final villain.
But, it doesn’t look like that’s the case anymore. I hoped Horikoshi wouldn’t make All For One so important to the creation of Shigaraki. Sure, we saw the Demon Lord of Formal Wear returning a young Tenko home during Shigaraki’s origin and figured he at least had a hand in giving Tenko the Decay quirk.
But, now? After reading this chapter? It’s clear AFO’s plan goes deeper than that. Much deeper. And that’s a shame. A shame because it looks like Deku will indeed save Shigaraki … from All For One.
I bet AFO’s also responsible for my dad’s hemorrhoids. Damn you!
Gotta catch ’em all? More like gotta escape ’em all!
Them, of course, being the Five Elders. They’re on Egghead Island to stop Dr. Vegapunk’s transmission from going full TMZ on their whole operation. And, maybe kill Monkey D. Luffy in the process. But that’s a bonus.
Flying/Dark Type, Saint Mars, found York The Greedy. If anyone knows where and how to stop the transmission it’s her. So, does that mean the World Government’s dirty laundry will remain safely locked up in history’s clothes hamper? Nope! This is the final saga, Y’all. At some point, the world must learn how awful the World Government is. It’s now or never from a narrative point of view. It’s happening!
But, it doesn’t mean York and Mars won’t try stopping the transmission. My guess is Vegapunk Stella, Shaka, and Pythagoras have a few more tricks up their dead sleeves. For example: Is it just a coincidence it’s the three dead Vegapunks broadcasting the message? Could this be happening live … inside Punk Records? Or, is there a back-up message ready to go if this one’s taken down? Basically, I’m expecting a last second twist that guarantees the message gets out.
Luckily, Jimbei hadn’t yet used his master ball.
My theory is Dr. Vegapunk snitches on the Five Elders, backing the World Government into a corner where Uranus (the weapon that instantly destroyed an entire country) is their final option in keeping the masses in check, ala Star War’s Death Star. The Revolutionaries begin making their final plays in response, leading to every country picking a side, then …World War One Piece.
Intentually or unintentually, many of us have been hurt by our family. That pain can last a long time, maybe forever. Fortunately, we live in a world where mental health is being treated more seriously than it’s ever been before. So, if you’re hurting on the inside, seek help.
I don’t think Kotaro Shimura sought professional help for what happened to him as a child. Or, if I’m wrong, he should find a new therapist. The anguish of his mother, Nana Shimura, abandoning him never healed and eventually lead to the man hurting his own child, Tenko. Tenko Shimura dreamt of becoming a hero, but his father had no intention of supporting even the idea of it. He even slapped his son just because he wanted to become a hero one day. Sure, Tenko joked about his mother’s Alopecia condition beforehand, but that’s still uncalled for!
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
Anyway. A guilt-ridden Nana finally gets to learn what became of her son after she left to get cigarettes and never returned (Note: Never try buying cigarettes from All For One). It’s a heart breaking scene. The whole chapter was an interesting look into Shigaraki’s subconscious. So, now Nana’s gone. The last One For All vestige breaking Shigaraki’s final emotional barrier. The Big Bad’s heart is now an open book, or VR simulation, for Deku to learn exactly what created such a monster.
