You mess with Ron(ja) of us, you mess with all of us!
No, not Ronja! Her positivity in the face of death is heartwarming. She’s, by far, one of my favorite Elbaph characters in this arc just from this chapter alone. Prediction time: Sanji saves Ronja. Either him or Spider-Man. Hasn’t Disney bought Shonen Jump already? No? Sanji it is then.
Finally! We have a possible weakness to the Celestial Dragons’ immortality: Conqueror’s Haki. Geez! Is there anything haki can’t do? I’m positive my dentist used haki to pull out my wisdom teeth. Wish I could haki away her invoice.
So, if it’s only conqueror’s haki that neutralizes immortality, it’s all up to Scopper Gaban. But, if it’s simply haki in general, Jimbe can get in on the action if he’s freed.
*SIGH!*
No other Straw Hat Pirate in Sun World besides Jinbe uses haki in their attacks. Hmm… Now would be the perfect time for Usopp to start putting haki into his attacks. Okay, Oda. Your move!
Well, Robin, you tried. St. Sommers was mildly inconvenienced for a few seconds from your blindsided attack so…good job?
I’m really interested in seeing how the Holy Knights are stopped. Gaban VS Sommers after he frees the Straw Hats is almost a given. That leaves the crew to take on St. Gunko while someone(s) takes down St. Killingham chillin’ at the school. Maybe Franky fights him? In any case, it’s nice seeing members of the crew other than the Monster Trio fighting to save the day.
This was a good chapter! Sure, it was mostly just the Holy Knights aura farming (“Aura farming” is what the kids say these days, right?). Young Ronja stole the chapter with her bright personality and courage. Fantastic character. I hope she officially joins the Collun Pirates in the future, along with Shanks’ baby and Dr. Kureha. One Piece Z, here we come!
