Finally! Loki’s free to enact his glorious purpose!
Here we go! Loki Fight: Round One. It’s not like anyone else is gonna be this arc’s final antagonist. Well, Shamrock was, but he’s gone so it’s up to Loki wielding his weapon, Ragnir. Put my money on it being a hammer similar to Marvel’s Thor’s weapon, Mjolnir.
In any case, the Monster Trio’s there to lose this match along with the New Giant Pirates. I’m interested in what Loki’s plan will be? Destroy the Adam Tree? Retreat to the Astral World in order to heal his wounds (You just know that’s where Luffy VS Loki: Final Round is taking place)? Free any lackey’s that are locked up somewhere else? I haven’t been this excited since the Elbaph Arc began!
A giant with ancient giant blood that has a devil fruit ability. Things are gonna get nasty down in Elbaph. I hate to sound like I’m all about the fighty-fight but geez this arc was boring me. Waiting for the (giant prince’s) shoe to drop every arc is getting annoying, especially when the build-up isn’t worth the wait. The Robin/Saul reunion with great. Scopper Gaban’s official introduction was okay. But everything else minus Shamrock’s reveal felt tedious.
This was a good chapter! ONLY because Loki’s (mostly) free from his chains. Let’s get this arc going in full gear, Oda! Hmm… I wonder who cut that giant branch long ago? Well, I do know Usopp will be cutting the cheese if he keeps drinking that gassy Elbaph wine. Somebody light some candles, please.
