Everyone’s so happy. It’d be a shame if a couple baddies teleported down onto a magic pentagram circle to ruin it.
Let’s jump right into the last pages. Dark lightning/energy? A summoning circle we’ve seen only the Five Elders previously use? Someone looking like Shanks appears? It’s gotta be Saint Figarland Garling!
Makes since if the theory he’s Shank’s father is true. King Imu gives him the power to look younger and BLAM! He’s on Elbaph disguised as Shanks on the same island he knows the Straw Hat Crew escaped to. Now he can hunt down Lilith, destroy Ohara’s books (if he finds out they still exist), and geniuely be a pain in the butt to any and everyone on Elbaph. Perfect. I’m such a genius!
…Hm? What is it, fellow reader? Last page of One Piece 1121? No, I don’t reme—
Oh.
Well maybe I am over thinking things and it’s just Shanks’ brother.
What about the woman with him? A clone of Lilith? Stussy 3.0? Big Mom 2.0? York The Greedy’s most likely behind whoever this person is and I for one am ready for things to get crazy on Elbaph.
I like Lilith bringing an old clone of Dr. Vegapunk with her. Not sure what exactly will come from it, seeing as we already have a Dr. Vegapunk running around Elbaph, but it’s nice having a backup in case of emergency. Vegapunks do seem to die a lot these days.
Interestly enough, Oda gives us a scene with another villain: Loki. He’s talking to someone he calls “Shaggy”. Zoinks! Who could that be? Put me down for it being The Man With The Burn Scar. I’m not too confident about this theory but whoever Shaggy is has to, like, be important. Right, Scoob?
King Harald wanted to establish peaceful trade between his nation and others? Basically, it looks like Harald wanted to stop the pillaging and just have Elbaph be more chill. That could be a big reason why someone as kill happy as Loki murdered him in order to take the throne for himself.
What’s up with the books growing to giant size inside the library? We going full on magic or is it that Owl’s devil fruit power? Hmm…

This was a nice chapter! Slow in the beginning but Oda’s easing us into the main conflict of the arc so it’s fine. Like I said, things are ramping up and I can’t wait. Where’s Kuma, by the way? Maybe someone should check-up on him? Oh well, I’m sure he’s safe in Safe Mode somewhere.
