With that out of the way, let’s talk about Princess Vivi’s message to the crew. You know? The “X” on Gear Five Luffy’s arm? Quite the coincidence the Straw Hats who would recognize and understand the significance of that mark aren’t there to see it, huh? Oh, well, it’s just to let the Straw Hats know Vivi’s alive and well. We probably won’t see the other Straw Hat crew members’ reaction to it until much later.
…Unless, Vivi reunites with them on Elbaph.
You escape with giants, odds are you’re going to Elbaph. If Vivi is to reunite with the Straw Hat Pirates, it makes sense it’ll be there. Besides, it’s not like she can go home back to Alabasta Kingdom. Our favorite future season two One Piece Live Action princess is wanted by CP0. It’s Elbaph or Big News Morgan’s home on Sesame Street—and I think we all know which choice Vivi will make.
Let’s just dive into Tom Hiddleston—erm—Loki, shall we? Looks like he’s gonna be the Big Bad of the arc. Although, it may still be too early to tell. He definitely seems to be an antagonist at least. Luffy’s usually a good judge of character, so if he doesn’t see anything wrong with Loki that may truly be the case. Basically, I sense some sort of a twist coming in one form or another. I’m keeping my eye on you, Sexy—um—Loki!
Loki’s devil fruit? I wonder what it could be? Probably another Mythical Zoan-type. Another Human-Human model? I wouldn’t be surprised. I think Oda’s setting up Luffy fighting another “god” level devil fruit. Either that or Eneru returns. Now THAT would be a twist!
Why is Rodo hanging out in a castle? Is it his castle? I get the feeling this guy’s gonna help kick-off whatever insanity is about to happen on Elbaph. Especially since his own crew doesn’t even like him.
This was a good chapter! Feels like things are truly starting in this arc. Rodo, Loki, Saul, Vivi, there’s a lot that’s gonna happen. And that’s not even mentioning Usopp’s predicted character arc, an enemy god devil fruit, and Ragnarök. Too bad there won’t be a Hulk in this version. But, Woop Slap could return as Dr. Doom so it won’t be all bad.
