Nika Bonney sucks.
I figured stamina would be an issue but Ms. Nika barely did anything! Well, the powerscalers are at least happy. Also, I guess mastery of haki comes with Bonney’s Nika Package. Sure. Why not?
Alrighty! Let me see… Five Elders. One (St. Mars) got Team Rocket’d. St. Peter and St. Warcury are being held back by Gear 5 Luffy and Emet, the ancient robot. …That leaves St. Saturn and St. Nusjuro. How much you wanna guess those two are what’s holding up the Thousand Sunny Group?
If true, then Team Nami needs a distraction. Enter Atlas wanting to check up on the Sunny. I really don’t see Lilith dying, so what does Atlas want them to do? Well, I guess they could try to sacrifice themselves but the Straw Hats will stop them. And, the hold up could give Stussy time to help and hop aboard the Thousand Sunny. Either that or she finds and escapes with Edison somehow.
We missed all of Dr. Vegapunk’s “D” talk. Still, I wonder if Oda’s gonna give us the name of the Ancient Civilization before the arc ends? That’d be the perfect way to end the Stella’s message. It’s important but not so important it needs to wait until the final arc. A perfect balance.
Rob Lucci and Admiral Kizaru. Those two wild cards are still around. I still stand-by my theory Kizaru is showing up one more time before the arc ends. He’ll be apart of the final brawl and the reason whether or not everyone escapes in one piece. Ha!
This was a good chapter! Short but we’re moving towards the end. Maybe another five or six chapters left at Egghead Island. Maybe less if Emet goes ham on the Five Elders. Speaking of ham, I’ll take an order of Warcury chops with a side of Peter worm hash browns. …Hmm… On second thought, I’ll just order a pizza.
