Congratulations to U.A.’s graduating Class of 2… Um, what year is it exactly in the story?

Class 1-A has officially graduated! Say hello to Hero Course Class 2-A! They grow up so fast, don’t they? Of course, if it were up to me I’d have My Hero Academia last through their entire stay in high school. What I wouldn’t change is Aoyama leaving U.A. Look, you did good, Aoyama. You helped saved the day. But, Shinso deserves a spot in the hero class, and frankly, I’m still a little butt hurt there weren’t long lasting consequences for your betrayal. If this and a slap on the wrist is all you get, fine. I can live with that and wish you all the best. Goodbye and good luck!

And don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Welcome to Class 2-A, Shinso! It’s been a long time coming. Gotta say, I’m shocked Bakugo’s back at school so soon and even more shocked at how calm he is when he choses to be. Either that, or the medical marijuana is kicking in.

I want to give a special shoutout to Principal Nezo for being the best supporting character in the series. Dude, was playing 4D post-war restoration chess while everyone else was just trying to figure out how to stop the villains. What a genius! Such a shame we may never get to see his full backstory.

Horikoshi threw in one heck of a setup for the epilogue arc. I’m not only talking about the mystery character but 2-A’s talk of Japan not having a symbol of peace as well as the usual period of chaos after a war—a time where someone like All For One can come into power. It’s all gotta be related, don’t you think?

First things first, who’s the mystery cha—Tenko. Who else could it be? The blackened finger tips and bare feet are huge clues. Somewhere between surviving Star and Stripe’s beatdown and getting jumped by the One For All ghost crew, Shigaraki barfed out a teenage Tenko. Okay… Is he gonna be the new evil forged from chaos or the new symbol of peace? Certainly, not the former once Deku finds him. Keeping Tenko away from the dark side will most likely be his role in the arc. Looks like Lord Foop was on the right track after all.

Still, what about the symbol of peace? I’m thinking having one symbol won’t cut it anymore. Japan may end up going with a team of sorts. Kinda like a formation of the Avengers or Justice League. Hmm… if that happens, would that only included Japan’s heroes? AFO influencing the world’s criminal activities almost doomed the planet. A worldwide team of heroes not affected by international politics would help keep something like that from happening again. Plus, Koichi could join that team so you know I’m all for it!

This was a good chapter! I’m happy Horkoshi isn’t rushing the ending—assuming it’s gonna be as long as he wants it to be. Must be nice graduating from U.A. now. All Mirio and his former classmates have to do is put I Helped Win The War on any job or college application and it’s there’s. Wait. Does hero college exist? What could they possibly teach? Advanced Team-Ups? Beatdowns 101? Sidekick Calculus? Sign me up!
