A challenge, but not impossible. Transformers/G.I. Joe Movie producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, is in early talks to include characters from the 80’s cartoon, Challenge of the Go-Bots, alongside its toyetic peers on the big screen.
“The Transformers come from another world. Makes sense there’s life on other planets too,” Bonaventura said at a vegan telecommunications event held in Los Angeles. Although the producer didn’t mention if the D-list robots where meant to get equal billing alongside the Transformers and G.I. Joe or simply have a cameo. Fans have speculated the GoBots could wind up being the movie’s villains given how much fun it’d be seeing them get blasted by the two more popular franchises.
Bonaventura did infer that if the mega crossover movie is successful, this could open the floodgates for other tag-team 80’s movies, including the ThunderCats VS Care Bears movie fans on the internet have demanded for years.

Is this a gag post? ‘Cause I HAVE heard that they wanted to do a G.I. Joe/ Transformers movie in the past.
