Dead tired, that is! What a busy week he had! Oh, and Dr. Vegapunk: Stella Edition is dead. For real dead. Real/Fake Dead. Fictional Dead. You know what I mean. In any case, Dr. Vegapunk was smart enough to come up with a plan to stick it to the World Government if he did indeed die. And it looks like that plan involves broadcasting a pre-recorded Ted Talk revealing everything he knows about the history of the world. And, also how to overcome stage fright, but let’s focus on the former, shall we?
I’m assuming Dr. Vegapunk is sending his message around the world since playing it only at Egghead won’t leave nearly as much of an impression. Is this the thing the Oda Box many chapters ago said would be the game changing event that supposed to occur on Egghead? The death of Dr. Vegapunk along with him airing the World Government’s dirty laundry? It won’t get much bigger than that.
An Admiral being defeated? Huge news but not quite on dropping world secrets level. The death of Saint Saturn? Nope. Not happening on Egghead. Kinda hard for Catarina Devon to impersonate a dead guy if everyone knows he’s dead. I’m sticking with my theory he’s getting secretly killed and replaced by the Blackbeard Pirates. Either way, don’t count on ole Saturn making it back to Mary Geoise. At least not the OG version.
Hmm… Dr. Vegapunk’s about to reveal World Government secrets. Big New Morgans has dirt on the World Government thanks to Princess Vivi and Wapol. Interesting. The World’s most famous and smartest scientist and the biggest news publisher in the world. Two trusted sources of information both spilling the beans on the WG at (I will assume) roughly the same time. If that doesn’t convince the Five Elders and Im to get York The Greedy on their payroll so she can get Uranus operating at a constant 100% efficiently, I don’t know what will. My York-Joins-Blackbeard-Theory may be as dead as… VP Stella now.
Still waiting on Saturn to go full beast mode. He’s certainly getting closer with the strange eyes and venom legs. It’s only a matter of time now. Poor Dorry and Brogy. Once Saturn goes into his full beast mode, someone has to be fodder for its introduction. I guess that’s them. And don’t get me started on Saturn possibly awakening his devil fruit power! Let me put it this way: If you’re a Dorry and Brogy fan, don’t make a reaction video for the next couple of chapters, unless you don’t mind crying on camera.
This was a good chapter! It’s interesting seeing the Straw Hat Crew fail in their initial mission protecting Dr. Vegapunk and the fallout that comes because of it. Luffy holding back both Kizaru and Saturn until Dorry and Brogy (and Sanji?) arrive on (or back at) the scene will be fun. Until time, this is Blue — REDgeek! Red sayin’ bye! I’m Redgeek. Alive … and well.

If Stellapunk dies here, what’ll happen to the Brain Brain Fruit? ‘Cause he cut off the top of his head because it was retaining more and more memory and got too big for him to handle? Oh man, what’s gonna happen to his BRAIN after this? And what of the Satellites; what’ll happen to THEM? Will one of them get the Brain fruit? So many questions with this plot point….. It makes me wonder when Oda’s going to have Vegapunk(ANY OF THEM) about the true nature of Devil Fruits. Well, beyond their supposed Origins.
Saturn………. WILL NOT DIE HERE. Nor do I think the Blackbeard Pirates have what it takes to seal this guy away. I doubt capturing him and switching him out for Devon would be as easy as “Slap Some Sea Stone Cuffs On him and switch.” And I’d put money on the other Elder’s seeing through any of her tricks IMMEDIATELY. It was their plan, but……… they came in knowing too little about the Truth to pull it off.
If ANYONE has to job to Saturn, then yeah; I would choose Dory and Broggy. Or, well; not “Choose” them,” but if anyone currently- them. The Yonko have been on a tear lately between what happened to Law and Kidd, as well as Buggy starting to make his move………….. against Crocodile and Mihawk’s commands. Luffy’s first “Event” as an Emperor has to come out with a WIN if he’s to be taken seriously. Though at the same time: He failed his first request- Stellapunk is PRETTY MUCH gone. That’s a “Win” for the World Government right there. But, uh………. They are about to LOSE a whole lot more than just their tech when he says whatever’s being said in that video.
Oh man; I think Imu might decide to NUKE this place like he did to………. that one island. He DOES NOT care about losing 1 of the Gorosei, and it’s not as though Saturn doesn’t have…………. WHATEVER he used to come to the island, right? And as far as all of the technology goes, well…….. they pretty much gave up on that when they initiated the Buster Call, didn’t they?

Interesting questions regarding the Brain-Brain Fruit. I guess it’s possible Lilith can eat it next, but they may not need it anymore. They’re still geniuses with or without it.
Saturn is on borrowed time now. He’s got to stop Luffy or the world is changed forever. If he’s gonna get serious, it has to be now.
