And, yet I bet when he starts getting desperate is when the crap will truly hit the fan. Can’t you see, fellow fans, that things are going too smoothly for our heroes? Pacifistas and the Giant Pirates are destroying Navy ships left and right, Luffy’s at full power, and Bonny’s been rescued. Sure, Dr. Vegapunk Stella is dying, but we don’t know if it’ll actually happen. This is One Piece after all. The odds are good VP Stella’s surviving, somehow. So… Where’s the tension? Where’s the conflict? One word: Saint Saturn.
I’m telling, Y’all. He’s gonna go ham at some point and turn the tables on this whole arc. I’m putting my reputation on it. All 2¢ worth. Defense. Defense. Defense. That’s what Saturn’s been mostly doing. Once he switches tactics you watch out Luffy!
How the hell did Sanji stop Kizaru’s laser attack? And don’t say “love”. Like rapping unicorns on ice skates, I refuse to believe that’s the answer to anything in life I’m looking for. Maybe Sanji’s genetically altered body adapted to Kizaru’s lasers? Sure, let’s go with that for now. Whatever happened, it gives Sanji the ability to fight Kizaru, freeing Luffy to fight Saturn. See? It all makes sense! The voices in my head are right this time.
And here I thought Zoro VS Rob Lucci would have some kind of twist, but Oda was just saving the actual fight until later. You know. When we get to that part in the arc where the Monster Trio begins facing off against their main antagonists? So, yeah, we’re at that time or about to be there. Once it’s clear Luffy’s fighting Saturn, the final Egghead chapters will begin.
Did Catarina Devon and Van Augur know Saturn would be on Egghead? It didn’t seem like it from Catarina’s reaction. My guess is Blackbeard figured a high ranking Navy or World Government official would be there to oversee the mission to “save” Dr. Vegapunk from one of the Four Emperors. They just happened to hit the jackpot finding Saturn. Blackbeard no doubt wants access to top secret government information, and having Catarina impersonate Saturn is how he’s gonna get it.
I’m calling it now — Saint Saturn will be killed by the Blackbeard Pirates on his way back to Mary Geoise and replaced by Catarina Devon. Remember: Dozens of Navy ships are being destroyed, leaving fewer to escort the old fart back home. All the BBs have to do is ambush Saturn’s ship, replace him, then have Laffitte hypnotize the surviving Navy guards. Bing, Bang, Boom! Blackbeard wins again. Is there any wonder why this man is considered the DJ Khaled of One Piece?
Caribou’s gonna snitch to Blackbeard about where to find Pluton and Poseidon. Let me see your shocked face. Good! You’re quite the actor/actress/politically correct term for non-binary acting performer. We ALL knew it was coming. Even if Blackbeard doesn’t get Shirahoshi, there’s no doubt he’s getting his greasy fingers on Pluton. Wano’s about to get a big black boot up it’s samurai packed rear. And as someone who overall didn’t like the Wano Arc, I’ve already reserved a front-row seat!
This was a great chapter! So much chaos, but it’s shown in a way that it continues to keep me interested. Not just in what’s happening on Egghead, but what’s going to happen in the future. Blackbeard is such a MVP! I heard a theory Rocks D. Xebec is Blackbeard’s father. If that’s where he gets the D. from, then could his mother be a Buccaneer? Yo, Teech? Can I borrow your family photo album? Thanks! … What? Zendaya’s your 3rd cousin?! Well, that explains why you were at the red carpet premiere of Dune: Part Two.

Man, things really ARE going to shake up by the end of this, aren’t they? It’s starting to feel like the end of the Paranormal Liberation War in My Hero- getting the key characters where they need to be for the Finale to kick off. I get the feeling Imu will see through ANY disguise Devon can muster up, so………. she’ll likely be dead before she even knows what’s going on. Stellapunk is on death’s door right now, leaving York, Lilith, Edison, and Atlas as the final 4 Vegapunks. Where his actually BRAIN ends up, and where York will be by the end of it is anyone’s guess.
I heard this theory that the Dom shoes are fitted with the same light-touching tech as Atlas’ gloves. Sanji probably doesn’t know that, so he chalked it up to “Love.” But then: “All Things Are Brought Into This World By Desire.” So Why not “love?” Maybe Oda’s about to show us what simple “Desire” can bring out in a person. Between Haki and Sanji’s genes; he might well be able to just “do it because he wants to.”
So…………… “Teech Is Special.” Bonney said “Kuma was of a SPECIAL Race.” If he’s NOT a Buccaneer, then he is a Buccaneer Experiment by the World Government that escaped out into the world. BUT HE IS RELATED TO THE BUCCANEERS SOMEHOW.

Egghead Arc is so much about putting the endgame characters in their final spots it’s not even funny. Especially, Blackbeard. But, that may have come at the cost of several SH members not getting enough focus. Egghead? No. This is the Worldbuilding Arc!
VP Stella’s fate depends on what Oda wants to do with the character. You’re right, his memories are being uploaded so he could become an android, a cyborg, or a clone with his memories uploaded. There’s so many options it’s hard to guess what Oda will do.
I haven’t counted York out either. I thought she’d join Team Blackbeard. If not, now, I can see Blackbeard freeing and recruiting her. If she’s a genius villain, she has to team up with a villain group and between the WG and BB, i’d choose BB. Especially, after learning he’s after world domination, something York the GREEDY would have a big interest in.
