Did Kuma figure out that Luffy ate the Nika fruit?
Warlord of the Sea and Professional DILF, Bartholomew Kuma, knows all too well that the Sun God Nika has rubber like abilities. I’m sure he put 2 and 2 together or at least suspected it could be possible. It does explain why, in addition to secretly helping the Revolutionary Army, Kuma also helped Luffy on the down-low whenever he could. Yeah, I’m going with that.
Ah, Oda. Using Kuma’s tragedy to help justify Dragon (mostly) abandoning his son. Now I’m even more interested in who Luffy’s mother is. Was she a Navy officer, Revolutionary, or simply a regular person. Hmm… Perhaps, she was a pirate?!
Bonney’s devil fruit. I’ve heard rumblings throughout the One Piece fandom that the Age-Age fruit is overpowered. And from what I’ve seen, I agree. And, guess what? I don’t care! We’re in the endgame, Y’All. Characters with overpowered devil fruits appearing should be the norm going forward. Besides, Bonney’s fruit may not be as overpowered as some think. We still don’t know how long the kid can perform Distorted Future or how much, if any, energy it takes using that technique. Basically, chill out, One Piece powerscalers. Go meditate or something. Everything will be alright.
Interesting how Dr. Vegapunk insists Stussy is human despite being a clone when he’s created maybe hundreds of Kuma clones that seem devoid of any free will and are made to fight on behalf of the government. This has been a friendly reminder that Vegapunk is one sketchy motherfunker.
This was a good chapter! More drama and insight into Kuma and Bonney’s history. I can’t get enough of it! We’re getting closer to the end of the flashback. There’s not much else to show except Kuma and Bonney’s POV during the beginning of the series up to the Egghead Arc. So, maybe another chapter or two? Guess I better buy another pack to tissues. I smell a tearjerker coming. And, also the result of that spicy chili I had last night. Oof! If you’ll excuse me…
