Who knew balls of sweat could be so powerful?
And who knew Bakugo could encase his explosive sweat inside regular sweat to use as time bombs? Also, regular sweat? He can do that?! My Bull Crap Detector’s beeping, but there’s no other way for anyone to win against AFO. AFO is so overpowered, it’s gonna take a lot of B.S. to put the wanna-be Demon Lord down for good. And, hey, I’m getting tired of AFO, so let’s all agree to look the other way and move on.
All that said, I loved seeing AFO get blasted. It’s a visually stunning chapter. Loving Horikoshi’s art here. I was cheering AFO’s beatdown like he owed me money.
But, we all know AFO ain’t done yet. My guess is he’ll reach Shigaraki only to die by his hands. I’ve been predicting Shigaraki killing AFO for years, and dang it, I wanna to see it happen. Mostly because by killing AFO, Shigaraki will usurp him as the “Demon Lord” of the series. The true Big Bag. The Final-Final Boss of Finality.
This was a good chapter! It’s definitely one of those don’t think about it too hard chapters, but, again, I had fun reading it. I’ll give Horikoshi credit for at least trying to explain how Bakugo won. Of course, that means believing quirks have a will of their own. Since when did you have to be on acid to understand this series?
