What the heck are the Rocks and Roger Pirates talking about?
Roger mentioning it being “a whole year”? The Rocks Pirates saying “Final fight” and “Settle it once and for all”? Oh, yes, dear friends. There are huge info chunks Oda’s keeping from us. The question is why? Why is he withholding information about Rocks D. Xebec? My only guess is it having to do with his goals. And by that I mean Laugh Tale.
Wait a minute. Just why did Gol D. Roger want to go to Laugh Tale in the first place? How did he even find out about it? These same questions apply to Rocks. I don’t think we’re getting answers until the Straw Hats either reach Laugh Tale or acquire copies of all four Road Poneglyphs. That and Rocks could still be alive. Him being the only big name pirate to die does seem odd. Quick! Someone check if he recently posted on Instagram.
How did Kuma escape St. Saturn? Did Big Mom lend a hand? Did he get lucky and paw-paw himself out of the area? Just wondering.
And still no official name for Kaido’s devil fruit. Hmm… Just what about it is Oda hiding until the end? Is it part of the same category as some of the Five Elder’s devil fruits? You and your secrets, Mr. Oda.
Gloriosa was a member of the Rocks Pirates?! Is every elderly person in One Piece awesome? …Yeah, pretty much.
Kuma and Ginny. Looks like they got their happy ending. Or, not. There has to be more to Kuma’s story and it won’t be pretty.
This was a great chapter! So much lore and characters and drama. I was on the edge of my gaming chair seat the entire time. MVP this chapter goes to Ginny for sending out that message leading to Kuma rescuing over 500 people. I still don’t get why Ginny didn’t text me she was in trouble. I would’ve showed up. Uber goes to God Valley, right?
