Superpowered teamwork makes the heroic dream work!
Not much to say about this short chapter except I think we’re seeing how Sir Nighteye’s Foresight quirk can be countered: by wishes. A strong desire along with action to change fate can indeed change it. At least, that’s how I’m seeing it.
Does that mean All Might will survive? I have no idea. Last chapter, I said I wasn’t gonna speculate on it anymore and I won’t. But, it’s interesting seeing Horikoshi giving a possible explanation as to why Sir Nighteye’s prediction may not come true. Every quirk has a weakness. And it looks like Foresight, as powerful as it is, isn’t immune to that rule.
This was a good chapter! It’s a chapter with little dialogue, but it got its point across. Of course, AFO isn’t gonna let All Might escape without a fight. Bakugo’s gonna need backup. You know what? Where the hell are Japan’s jets? Tanks? I love you, Horikoshi, but Japan not having a strong military makes no sense. Unless, they all went on vacation at the same time. Hmm… Makes about as much sense as a flying bomb boy.

I wonder if that honestly unnecessary use of “Gear Shift” is gonna come back to bite him at some point. ‘Cause there was honestly NO POINT in boosting Bakugo like that. With his own innate One For All boost and Bakugo doing everything in his power to make it there; I don’t think Gear Shift added anything more that wasn’t already gonna happen.

I guess it’s because they wanted to make sure AFO was caught off-guard, but I barely remember what Gearshift does.
I’m so done with AFO. He’s worn out his welcome. I’m cutting the lights out and pretending I’m not home so he’ll go away.
