Captain Crack Head VS Admiral Stoner [One Piece 1093]

Or, yes. It depends on the drug. Illegal drugs aren’t good for you. Aspirin is a legal drug. But don’t smoke it! Anyway, Gear 5 Luffy VS Still Not Fully Serious Admiral Kizaru revs up. Kinda.

Oda seems to be slowly building up the main fight of the arc. Classic shonen stuff. It also signals this arc could last longer than we think. Especially, now that Team Luffy has separated.

Zoro VS Rob Lucci. Zoro fights the second strongest person in an arc. Is that Lucci? At the moment, yes. But, what about the Seraphim? Could Lucci simply be round one? I’m gonna say, yes. As much as Lucci’s improved, I see Oda ending this arc with a weakened Zoro battling the Seraphim, specifically, S-Hawk.

The worse part is Saturn’s gonna post their reaction to him seizing control on YouTube

But for that to happen, someone has to free the Seraphim and give them orders a Vegapunk can’t override. Yep. Saint Saturn’s going to the Labophase. Or, someone who can fully copy Saturn like Catarina Devon. Hmm…

Raise your hand if you think Saturn has already given the Pacifista’s new orders? I agree. With the Fabriophase under Navy control, Saturn could easily go there himself and take control of the PX-IIIs. If so, it’s the Pacifistas, Vice Admirals, and the rest of the Navy on Fabriophase VS Sanji, Franky, Atlas, Jewelry Bonney, and Vegapunk Stella +Ancient Robot. Interesting how the Ancient Robot is activating and we’ve seen VP Stella researching it many chapters ago. Mr. Roboto’s sure to help level the Pacifista playing field at some point.

Is Jewelry Bonney actually a little girl or is Dr. Vegapunk in full patronizing mode? This is One Piece; it can go either way. If anyone knows Bonney’s true age, it’s Vegapunk but the good-ish doctor is old and maybe he refers to everyone in that age range as little. Hmm… This one has me stumped, Y’all.

This was a good chapter! It would’ve been interesting if the arc’s focus stayed on the Straw Hat Crew simply escaping, but a shonen’s gonna shonen. Welcome to the main fighty portion of the Egghead Ace. Hope you enjoy your stay, it’s gonna be awhile. I better warm-up some pizza rolls.

People have been going back to an SBS question in volume 68 I want to say, in which he laid out the Supernova’s heights and ages. I had always heard that Bonney’s was unlisted, but people have been looking and finding her age to be 24. And the timeline of events regarding Kuma, Bonney, and Vegapunk would put her in her 20’s. So yeah; Stellapunk’s just patronizing.
Man, I knew the Admiral’s were still likely gonna be a problem for the Straw Hats, but for Kizaru to be keeping up and even kind of beating G5 Luffy like this is crazy to think about! His Devil fruit is tough!!
I wonder how long Luffy is gonna be able to keep Gear 5 against Kizaru who……. doesn’t really seem to be trying.

Thanks for the Bonney info. A shame she’s being treated like a damsel in distress.

I love Kizaru barely trying against Luffy. I’d make no sense for Kizaru, an admiral, to go down so easily.

At this point, we may even see Kizaru lose just because his heart isn’t in this fight. But, if that happens, Saturn may deal with him.
