Start the All Might Dying Countdown!
All Might fighting All For One at Tatoin Station. The same place he first met Midoriya in chapter one. All Might’s first appearance in the series could also be his last alive. Now, that’s what I call a poetic death flag. But, don’t worry, All Might fans. The world’s greatest hero has more Class 1-A modifications to use. No doubt he’s saving Bakugo, Todoroki, and Deku’s for last. My guess is we have at least another three or four chapters of All Might goodness left. So, stock up on your tissues now. You’re gonna need ’em.
Wait. You don’t think Horikoshi is killing All Might in chapter 400? Do you? Hmm…
We didn’t get nearly as much flashback as I wanted. Is that it? Hope not. It’s not just Toshinori and Nana, I wanna see to full scope of what Japan was like before All Might. A Japan with AFO ruling behind the scenes and heroes really having it tough. And what about vigilantes? Are they still common place in those days? Didn’t Gran Torino say he got his license only to teach All Might at U.A.? Was he a vigilante? What about Tartarus? Did that place even exist back then? So many questions. So little time.
This was a good chapter! Not enough flashback but it’s a start. All Might using Class 1-A’s “quirks” makes for a great countdown to the end of the fight. And now Deku’s tuned in to All Might’s fight through the power of One For All. Another death flag. But, hey! Maybe it’s all a fake-out. At the last second, All Might is saved by… Koichi! That’s right! He’s coming damn it! *sniff* He is…
