You need a quirk to become a hero? Bull. Crap.
Yeah, that no quirk=no hero talk was always a flimsy reason to not become a hero. Iron Man. Batman. We all know with enough money, time, and technology, almost anyone can be a hero. What makes it worse is My Hero Academia takes place in the future. We’ve seen advanced technology all throughout the series. This world even has A.I. robots! Are you seriously telling me no one person or organization ever thought to build a mech suit or robot to keep the peace, Horikoshi? Oh, please!
Sure. A mech or robot is more expensive but how much more? U.A. Academy is hi-tech as hell. And think about how many robots the students destroy during training sessions. Could building an Astro Boy or Red Tornado really be that much more expensive?
All Might himself said he just had to put in his specifications and design request then BOOM! Freaking Iron Man! Granted, he needed a genius like Melissa to get it done but I doubt she’s the only super engineer in the world. And it didn’t take much time to do! How long has it been since All Might retired? A year? Maybe a little longer? And he’s already going toe-to-toe with one of the strongest villains in recorded history? Even a young Robert Downey, Jr. couldn’t handle a crack this big in the world building.
Is All Might dying? This is a question that’s been asked for years but this has to be the fight where we find out. We’ve read enough manga to know battles go back and forth with one side seemingly having the edge until they don’t. So yeah, I have no idea right now. BUT, if I had to guess, I’ll go with my old theory of a double K.O. between All Might and All For One. Then again, I’m still hoping international heroes show up. It’s a long shot, but if they can hold AFO back long enough for the evil overlord to fade away due to Eri’s Rewind after All Might is defeated, that’ll still count as a win in Toshinori’s book.
This was a good chapter! As long as you don’t think about how easily All Might got his mech suit it’s fine. Knowing, Horikoshi, we’ll probably get a flashback showing exactly how All Might got the suit that’ll make my rant obsolete. …Hmm… Is Laundry Hero: Wash a robot? He’s got to be a cyborg at least, right? Yeah… I think I remember him being part of a team of superhero teenagers. It was him, some bird boy, a goth girl, an orange girl who can fly, and a shapeshifting green kid. I wonder what happened to them?
