I’m digging this energy.
What is it about this battle with Toga I love so much more than the other League fights so far? Spinner had that weird political commentary which, in my opinion, adds up to “Be nice to racists until they decide to stop being racist.”. Then you had Dabi’s battle that wore out its welcome fairly quickly and I just lost interest. But here. Watching Toga’s battle. It works.
I’m not usually a fan of “Talk no Jutsu”, the art of a hero’s speech stopping the villain and saving the day but I simply loved how “raw” it felt. There’s no changing Toga, simply an opponent trying to understand and accept her. I feel sorry for Toga but I don’t excuse her actions and neither does Uraraka. The young hero just wants to listen and sometimes all a person wants is to be heard.
I hope justice is served for Toga but I also hope she gets the help she needs. Damn, her parents were shitty. Yes, I’m still blaming them. They refused to accept Toga for who she was. It all started with them. Screw Toga’s parents.
This was a good chapter! I assume this ends Toga’s arc and I’m fine with it. It’s an wholesome ending that doesn’t sugarcoat the things Toga’s done but, instead, invites the audience to understand the character and hope her lifetime sentence in prison is full of therapy and Spongebob reruns. Yes, Toga. You are indeed a Goofy Goober.

Sorry I couldn’t get to this sooner; my new site just randomly stopped showing me notifications(the bell Icon isn’t there anymore). I might miss a few more of your posts, so sorry in advance.
And yeah: For some reason, this is the only League of Villains plot that doesn’t suck. All For One’s meddling stalled Tomura’s story; I didn’t understand why Spinner got such an important role; you’re right- Touya’s battle went on a few chapters too many; I didn’t care for Twice at all; and Compress came out of left field. And then there’s this, which has been at least “Consistent” up to now- when it’s honestly the best part of the series at the moment. And I mean that genuinely.
I saw people making edits and jokes about this chapter in comparison to the Jujutsu Kaisen chapter. I……. I didn’t get why. This was a good chapter, and what’s going on in that series right now- NO SPOILERS- is pretty cool, too.

Sorry about your site. Feel free to post whenever you’re able to.
I forgot about Twice’s backstory, but I liked it. Glad we felt his presence with Toga drinking his blood. But poor Mr. Compress was completely wasted as character.
But, yeah, good chapter but I’m ready to move on to the next thing. Not much to say about Jujitsu Kaisen since I haven’t read it yet. Always hearing good things about it but I don’t have the time to read it at the moment.
I’m interested in seeing where we go from here. Whether we check-in with All Might, Deku, or one of the Tartarus villains.

Do you still get notifications when I post on my site? I’m wondering if this is a problem with my site or if something else is up.
If you’re referring to the Aoyama- Kuneida thing- I doubt we’re going back to that. We’d be jumping back in time to when Shoto “Defeated” Dabi again, and I feel like cutting back to that at THIS point just plain serves no purpose. Honestly, I feel like Horikoshi just kind of forgot that plot. That or he’s gonna make some joke about it when all this is over.
That being said, the more I think about it; the more I think about it; the more I think that he’s going to wrap that one up in 1 or 2 pages just to appease everyone and then we see All Might vs All For One. ‘Cause I can’t see us just diving into either of these important battles IMMEDIATELY following this one. There needs to be a “buffer” before we jump into the “Meat And Potatoes” of this war. And that seems to be the one Hori cares about the least.

Do I get notifications from your newer site? Nope. I don’t know how. Doesn’t seem to be powered by WordPress.
Yeah, that fight should’ve happened a while back. But maybe that Tartarus fight will be an excuse to bring in International heroes. Yes, I’m still hoping Koichi shows up, even if only for a group shot with other international heroes. I’m a glutton for punishment.
