Ghostface shot Shaka! Well, maybe not Ghostface but someone blew his brains out. I wonder if he’s really dead? It’s possible granted we’ve got more than enough Vegapunks still alive. But wouldn’t it be strange for Shaka to get 360 no scoped without us knowing what his face looks like under the helmet? That one reason is why I’ll say he’s 99% dead, not 100%.
Why did it take so long for Shaka to realize Vegapunk might be in the basement? Because plot, that’s why. You’re slippin’, Oda. And don’t even try covering up Zoro late revelation with a joke. I ain’t buying it, buddy. You’re bending the characters’ actions to fit the plot instead of naturally allowing the characters’ actions to fuel the plot. Boo on you, sir. Boo I say!
Franky, Lilith, and Usopp lost their fight against S-Snake. Ouch! Come on, Oda. Throw the non Monster Quatro a bone. They don’t have to lose to make Luffy and the top boys look good.
Sanji’s eyebrows changed again. Looks like it happens when his Germa powers kick in. No one in the story has noticed it yet. Maybe one of the Vegapunks will. If they all aren’t killed, that is.
This was a good chapter! Pretty straight forward, but we’re closer to learning who the traitor is while the do gooders’ numbers are slowly whittled down. Time’s running out as well as people. Place your bets on which Straw Hat’s losing next. I got $50 on Robin only because I can see her going down while protecting Chopper. Damn “combat gear” isn’t working. Almost like it’s just fancy underwear. But that could be the key to defeating the traitor. Never underestimate the power of panties. Or was it education? I can never remember which.

………. I’m also unsure if Shaka is dead. On the one hand; I want to say that he is because there are more than just one “Vegapunk.” So even if 6 of them die, there will still be one Vegapunk alive, thus this guy never really “dies.”
For that reason, I could honestly go either way on whether Shaka is dead. Like you said: We still need to see his face. But it could be just as likely that he’s a robot like Atlas and all that stuff coming out of his head is just oil- red tinted or black. It’s a black and white manga; that stuff could be golden yellow for all we know right now!!
Zoro forgetting for the sake of a joke? Hm……. on the one hand; Luffy and Zoro aren’t the types to think about every little fight they’ve ever had- they probably forget most of them after they happen. But King WAS a pretty important opponent for Zoro. So yeah; I guess it doesn’t make sense for Zoro to have forgotten so soon.
Sanji’s eyebrows changing is something everyone’s gonna have their eyes on from now on. I wonder what it looks lke when it changes direction. Do you think this is part of the “Exoskeleton” thing and it “grows” on to him when his Vinsmoke Genes activate? Or would it be funnier if they just “Switch directions” mid battle?

Oda did kill a couple of named samurai in Wano so maybe it’ll stick. It’s hard to tell given how much damage characters can take and still survive. Conis’s dad took an Ener electric nuke point blank for IM’s sake! It can go either way. Especially if VP Stella can redownload their memories into new bodies.
I refuse to believe Zoro is that stupid. Oda was stalling for the plot in my opinion. It’s fine. Sometimes you gotta take shortcuts in writing. Especially in a weekly series.
I hope Sanji’s eyebrows just switch. Makes no sense but I’m down with it, ha!
