No way is Rob Lucci this arc’s chief antagonist.
More developments must be happening. Not saying Lucci isn’t stronger than he was in the Enies Lobby arc, but so is Luffy. Lucci’s not beating the Straw Hat captain at anything other than tic-tac-toe anytime soon. Maybe Sentomaru’s the main antagonist? He’s a marine officer now. His loyalties may side with the Navy. And with the Vegapunks giving him control of the Seraphim, he’d have the perfect opportunity to take out most of the science eggheads. Plus, it’d give the Straw Hats opponents to fight. So, yeah, put me down for Sentomaru betraying the Vegapunks.
For all we know, Sentomaru’s contacted Naval Base G-14 for help taking down the Vegapunk Clan after the Straw Hats’ arrival. Maybe Kizaru’s on his way too! Hope I’m not setting myself up for disappointment.
I wonder what happened to CP5, 7, and 8? The Cross Guild, maybe? Sure, why not?
Dr. Vegapunk can copy devil fruit powers! Unit S-Bear has Paw-Paw fruit powers, but the OG Kuma still has his. That’s a huge revelation Oda’s keeping in the background. Makes me wonder if other Dr. Vegapunks have devil fruit powers. Things could get crazy in this arc very soon.
This was a good chapter! CP0 was surprisingly enjoyable to watch, and Luffy has officially accepted Dr. Vegapunk’s escort mission. I’m still expecting Uranus to show up; especially with all this talk about Ancient Energy. Honestly, I don’t know what’s the big deal. Dr. Vegapunk’s probably talking about C cell batteries. They’re not a lost energy source, Vega, baby. It’s simply no one uses them anymore.
