I know One Piece is written for Japanese boys but can you at least make Nami and Robin’s “future suits” cool looking? They’re as basic as you can get. It’s like you put all your artist points in making them look sexy but forgot about style. Oh, well. I’m sure your target audience will enjoy reading this chapter with one hand.
Looks like all the information about Kuma being a former tyrant was World Government lies. Most likely, he criticized the powerful organization, and had to give up his throne as a result or risk his country suffering from retaliation. Oda’s building up more hate for the WG, just in case you didn’t dislike them already.
Speaking of hype, Kuma is part of a special race? Could that be the same special race as…Blackbeard?! Dun-dun-dun! Kuma could be how the Straw Hats (and readers) learn about Blackbeard’s special body. If true, that’s an interesting way to go about it, Oda. I almost forgive you for turning Nami and Robin into Victoria’s Secret models.
Who knew Law’s crew was useful? I’m very intrigued by Shachi and Penguin. I doubt they’re simply human. Maybe they’re part fish-man? Yeah, I’m going with that for now.
Pudding and her double D pudding cups have been reintroduced into the main story. Guess Team Law will save her somehow. Saved by the guy who helped kill (?) your mom. That’s gonna be an awkward submarine ride. Still, I wonder if Blackbeard wanted Pudding’s devil fruit or if she held important information he desired. Maybe a little of both? Could Blackbeard know who the “Man With The Burn Scar” is but needs Pudding to extract his memories to learn the location of the final Road Ponegliff? Hmm…
Dr. Vegapunk knows Dragon? Are they friends? Is that why the World Government wants them dead? The more I see of Vegapunk, the more delighted I am. Things are getting juicy, Y’all!
This was a good chapter! Blackbeard, Vegapunk, what’s not to love? And I bet Kuzan’s the one who tipped off the Navy about BB and Law’s fight. How many times does Blackbeard have to tell you, Kuzan, not to upload battles to Instagram as they happen? Some folks never learn.

You know I forgot about the Burn Scar guy? That makes her REALLY important to someone like Blackbeard!! And it makes him seem even smarter. As far as the “special race” goes; MAYBE. I honestly just said “Potential Lunarian” and left it at that. But this leading to the explanation of Blackbeard- tying that to the Blackbeard Seraphim they might have- would be interesting!
I saw people talking about Shachi and Penguin being part fishman. That would be cool; it’s not something that we get a lot of, unfortunately.
It’s funny that you mention “Victoria’s Secret” because I’ve actually been listening to that song on LOOP for a few weeks now!

Blackbeard’s body gotta come into play at some point. Reading your post makes me rethink if Law will save Pudding. BB’s gotta get his hands on the 4th Road Ponegliff somehow. If he doesn’t get it from Pudding then he screwed. Unless… he gets a member of his crew to follow Law and Pudding. Hmm….
Victoria’s Secret is a song too? Guess I’ll check it out. Maybe make it my chapter song if I like it.
