Gonna need an explanation, Horikoshi.
Did the Second’s quirk, Transmission, slow down All For Shiggy or speed up Deku? Or is it both? At first I thought Deku teleported, but maybe that’s just from Shiggy’s slowed perspective. In any case, it’s an interesting power. But why the five-minute limit? You darn shonens and your five-minute power limits. Yeah, it raises the tension, but since time is relative in comics, “five-minutes” can be as long as the author wants it to be. I’m on to you, Shonen Jump! Can’t fool me anymore.
Combos! I love it when Deku combines his quirks into new and exciting attacks. Black Chain was awesome. Hoping we get to see more.
What I didn’t like was some of the fight choreography. Horikoshi’s fight scenes can confuse me on a good day. When he’s intentionally being vague about what’s happening, it gets worse. Dude, read more One Piece. Learn how to better setup attacks and follow throughs. Well, it’s the final arc, so that’s not gonna happen. A shame.
This was an okay chapter! Deku’s powers and the One For All Users are keeping me engaged along with Mirio, but the fight itself working for me. Hm? I went through the whole review without mentioning Skycrawler. Not bad. I don’t need to talk about Skycrawler every chapter. No more Skycrawler references from me. No siree! I’m done with mentioning Skycrawler.
…Skycrawler.

I really do love Hagakure’s look, but was that picture of her necessary? God, Horikoshi needs to stop sexualizing his teenaged girl characters

Right or wrong, Shonen manga is geared toward teenage boys. And most teenage boys want to see stuff like that. I try not to let it bother me. Mostly because I feel violence in media is the bigger problem.
But at the very least, it was an odd time in the story to put that picture, making it more jarring.
