Things aren’t looking good for Star And Stripe…and Tomura Shigaraki.
New Order is the name of Star’s quirk. And, boy is it overpowered. Basically, the number 1 U.S. hero can warp physics on any target she touches and knows the name of, living or non-living. That explains why she looks so much like All Might. She literally turned herself into a version of him!
And with the ability to keep two rules active (herself and one other) at once, Star is pretty much a weaker All Might with a quirk. Yeah, that’s why she’s America’s top hero and Captain Celebrity isn’t. Hmm… I wonder how much weaker she is compared to All Might? Given Star probably gave herself the All Might rule when he was in his prime, even becoming HALF as powerful would be pretty damn strong! And, that’s me low balling it. The lady can survive travel on top a stealth fighter. She’s got to be legit tough to do that!
So…what will the already overpowered Shigaraki/AFO do with New Order if they steal it? Considering Shiggy kills by touch, it seems redundant using the quirk as merely a weapon. And we’ve already seen how New Order can change someone’s body drastically. A body essentially turned into All Might. And AFO claims gaining the quirk will make him invincible. Okay, let’s mix all of that in the Theory Blender™ and see what pours out… Oh! How about this:
AFO uses New Order to
1.) Fix his original body.
2.) Give it an All Might strength upgrade.
I love it! Not only would TWO superpowered All For Ones indeed be an instant game over for the world, if Shigaraki does fully take back his body, the fight between him and OG AFO will be glorious. A total win-win in my book!
And what about Shigaraki? Will he ever get his body back? The two personalities within him are merging, after all. Well, as long as Shigaraki’s the dominant personality, it won’t matter, I guess. Plus, he’ll have access to AFO’s memories and experience, so that won’t hurt either.
This was a good chapter! A short but fun fight with a classic shonen cliffhanger. Did Star lose her quirk? Maybe. But if so, she’s a goner. Unless Endeavor can arrive in time to save her. Or better yet, Star still has her quirk and it’s 2 number one heroes VS All For Shiggy. That’s something I’d pay to see, Y’all! Quick! Somebody call Netflix!

Fixing his original body? Hmm……maybe. Since his Vestige self and Tomura are merging; he’ll need SOME way to keep himself around. Though what guarantee does he have that…….whoever this becomes- will use “New Order” on him? The Tomura portion will probably be pretty mad- especially if you’re right and he becomes the dominant personality.
All For One’s plan is becoming more and more mysterious to me. Why is he building up Tomura if he’s not even planning to full on steal his body? Why leave a destroyer like Tomura around when he’s trying to rule? Whatever he makes; Tomura will destroy it- whether he wants that or not. So…….was I right in my assertion that he wants Tomura to destroy the world so he can build a new one from the ashes? Or am I totally off?

In the end, I don’t think it matter either way to AFO. As long as he’s in charge it doesn’t matter if the world’s destroyed or not.
