Sanji 3.0 has arrived!
That’s right, kicking chef fans, Sanji has digivolved into a new improved Sanji. A Sanji with a healing factor and tougher skin. Safe to say, the Straw Hat Pirates cook’s raid suit did indeed activate his latent Germa powers. In fact, I’d say that was Judge’s primary intention of giving his son the suit. The sly bastard!
Gotta say, I like this development. I was worried about how Sanji would keep up with Luffy and Zoro. Sure, the raid suit was a good idea from Oda, but would Sanji begrudgingly put it on every time he had a big fight from now on? Sanji’s physical upgrade helps the kicking king seem less reliant on the suit and brings the focus of his fights back on himself. I’m more interested in Sanji than I have been in years. Keep it up, Oda!
Queen has a snake mode… I always said Oda’s on that good shit. Now, do you believe me?! I don’t know where to begin with that form. Just gonna say it’s weird in all the right ways. Oda is an example of a writer who puts his story first, no matter what. The One Piece world is how he wants it. Period. Gotta respect (and criticize when warranted) him for that.
The whacky World Government wants Wano. Or should I say they want total access to their weapon facilities? They sure as hell aren’t trying to liberate the samurai country out of kindness. I wonder just who or what is on those Navy warships. Gotta be at least one admiral. Green Bull, maybe? And lest not forget the Warlord’s replacements. They’re probably there too. By “they” I mean the upgraded Pacifistas I assume replaced the Warlords. Woo boy! The Navy’s gonna get a rude awakening trying to take over Wano. The Big Mom Pirates certainly will. Whoever’s on those ships will probably grease their palms knocking them away from Wano, again.
And then there’s Yamato. No way is he leaving Wano with the WG actively trying to take over. This could be the reason for him not joining the Straw Hats. Basically, Oda could pull another Vivi, having him choose his country over sailing with them.
This was a great chapter! Glad Sanji is getting the spotlight and hope it continues. I’m worried about Nico Robin, Y’all. What if the Navy captures her… Wahahaha! Yeah, right! Like that will happen again… But what if it does? Better book a flight to Onigashima just in case! Thank goodness I still have those frequent-flyer points from my recent trip to Middle-Earth. Gondor’s Avocado Festival is not to be missed.
