King using his Pteranodon wings as cutting weapons, nice.
Pretty clever, Oda. I hadn’t thought of that. King’s essentially an upgraded verison of Mr. 1 (from the Alabasta Arc), except besides appendages that slice, he can also fly and create fire. And while I liked the idea of Sanji and Zoro teaming up, I’m surprisingly fine with the two pirate second bananas going one-on-one. For the first time, I’m getting excited about this fight!
Shout out to Momonosuke facing his fears. I really like that and the encouragement he’s getting from Yamato. Those two make a a great team. Inner conflict conquered in One Piece is always a powerful sight to see. I’m expecting Momo saving the Flower Capital to be almost as memorable as Luffy KO’ing Kaido.
Oh! Hi, Carrot and Wanda! Instead of beating Perospero, you became double damsels in distress. So much for you two having a cool fight in this arc.
This was a good chapter. Not much to talk about. Mostly the chapter building up the need to stop Onigashima from crashing/landing on Wano’s mainland and giving Zoro and King a new location to fight. A location outside, I might add. King’s got the airborne advantage. That is until Zoro goes full helicopter with his swords. Which, honestly, won’t be the weirdest sword technique he’s done. Fly, you fools. Fly!

Yeah; I wish Carrot and Wanda were the one’s to take down Peros. Other than just making fodder or the rift-raft; I don’t actually see them doing much of anything now. Which sucks.
I don’t know about Momonosuke’s fruit being able to dow EVERYTHING that Kaido’s can. I don’t think he has a Hybrid form to go into, and he might need to focused a little more than what Kaido is doing. I want to say that he CAN stop the island- but that’s probably all that he’ll be able to do.
KING. King is my favorite of the Beast Pirates- from his fruit to design to the mystery around him. And now he getting to his fight with Zoro. This is gonna be SICK!!

Interesting. I never thought about Momo not having a hybrid form, but I’m betting his fruit can do everything Kaido’s can.
Queen is my favorite Beast Pirate, but I’m slowly warming up to King. Knowing he’s a Lunarian makes him pretty important to the story post-Wano Arc.

I kind of feel like Oda is implying that, too- that Momo has all of Kaido’s abilities. But I feel like if he did; that would undermine the idea of this Artificial fruit being a “failure.” If it’s just as good as the original; why does Vegapunk deem it unsuccessful? Just so the World Government wouldn’t use it? I mean; that’s fine. It could lead into a larger story thread.
As for King Post-Wano; I do wonder how that’ll tie into the overall story. Like; are there anymore Lunarians out there? And what exactly happened atop the Red Line between the World Government and the Lunarians? They could be a very integral part of the World’s history………
