This chapter truly felt like the end is nigh.
So, the heroes have about a month to prepare before Super Shigaraki/AFO reaches full power. The final war is indeed coming. I’m a bit sad about it. There’s so much the series could’ve done before reaching the endgame. Inter-school tournaments, trips abroad, an A.I. arc villain, so much more about this world could’ve been explored. Oh well…
Did you notice Hagakure wasn’t among the students talking in the living room area? Just making a note of it.
Is Class A putting on another concert? Will it be the last slice-of-life arc we’re getting before the end? Maybe. Hope they do a cover of Gin and Juice. It’s a classic.
I like Bakugo trying to call Deku, Izuku. It was a nice moment. Bakugo can still be gruff, but that doesn’t mean he’s gotta be cruel. Good job, Horikoshi, for making that distinction.
Team Endeavor’s headed for Tartarus. Guess they have to access the intel Stain gave from a terminal there? But, it looks like most of the once ultra-max prison sunk. How’s that gonna work?
This was an okay chapter. The plot’s moving along, we have a ticking time clock for when 100% Shiggy activates, and Deku took a bath. I’m satisfied. But, come on, guys. You didn’t wash Deku’s hair. You know it’s just as funky as the rest of him, right? Better not take any chances. Shave it all off! Bald Deku is Best Deku, remember that!
